VERY often I will be saving an image and the extra option pops up after a second, and offsets the options so instead of “save image” I hit SHARE IMAGE and my list of contacts pop up for who to share this to, and I’m terrified of sending some Fear and Hunger fanart to my boss or something. I was used to the old password function, and well familiar with the list that was in there. After upgrading to iOS18, I checked the password app to see that a whole lot of entries have appeared. Some of them for websites I haven’t been on in years (10+), some for accounts that are obsolete (no accounts / account deleted) and some for websites I’ve never been on…? How is the list made up?? Some show no username / no password saved so I don’t even know how this happened, especially for websites I don’t remember? In the meantime, some of my entries disappeared so I’m confused. I just upgraded to iOS 18 and it seems that messages no longer shows the link URL when pasting a link. Is there anyway to change this back to show the text URL instead of a preview? I'd like to remove all the tracking cruff from the end of the URL [Edit] Looks like you can tap the preview and Convert to Text Link. I know that the Studio Display is based on IPS panels, but sometimes I even think it's better than some dark OLED monitors. I prefer the glossy panel, rather than nano-texture matte finish. What factor of this monitor makes it so much better than other IPS monitors and some OLED? I'm giving my older iMac to a family member's kid that is in high school. I'm just curious what is the absolute best most secure way to reset it? I turned FileVault on yesterday and it is almost done doing its thing after about 24 hours. I have already done a time machine restore on my new iMac and everything is good to go. This computer was used in my office with patient HIPAA data so I just want to know I am safe. The machine according to the title is in use. Works ok. Even though that broken glass is not a major problem I was wondering possibility to change the display. It has no appreciable monetary value so I might take this risk. And maybe learn something new. If I understood it correctly you can’t replace only glass part of it? How about display models. Are there different models for example in year 2013? If so, should I detach display and find part number or something? From where should I buy a new display? China?
