Hi, I have the following challenge: For the moment I am still holding on to my 7+ waiting for the 13.... (so far I couldn't be motivated to upgrade). Just got an iPhone 15. On my 13 mini I would hold the bar at the bottom and quickly move my thumb up and down to open App Switcher. This all happened in the blink of an eye. Now if I do that the app I'm using just moves a bit and I've got to hold the bar up to change apps. How do I go back to how it used to work? I traded phones with my grandfather recently and while switching phone numbers from one phone to another, instead of simply switching the two lines my phone instead decided to keep both lines on one device. My number I chose to label as “primary” and his old number (which I don’t need or want) is “secondary.” I see the option both to turn off his line and to delete his eSIM, which would fix my problem but my worry is that if I do that then his cellular line would no longer work on his new phone (my old one). I have been using dictation to type on my iPhone for the last few days (it’s running iOS 18.2). Since dictation is beyond garbage, I decided to switch back to regular typing. So I have added two languages to my keyboard but I always stick to the French one (my native language) so that I have an AZERTY keyboard, and it used to be enough so that I can type in any language but recently, after an update, if I use the French keyboard, it’ll correct almost every word I type in English into French. It’s annoying cause I have to be careful to every thing I type to not make any mistake. The only fix I have is switching to the English keyboard which turns the keyboard into QWERTY mode which isn’t helping because I haven’t learnt to master it and it’s a slow process to type even the shortest message. My Messages app won’t display badges. It will display banners, play a sound, show on Lock Screen and Notification Centre, just not badges. Badges show on other apps, like WhatsApp. It used to work, but this started happening ages ago, and has persisted through several upgrades of IOS. I am currently on 18.1. iPhone 13. I have notifications “allowed”, and badges turned on. I haven’t got any focuses running. Low power mode is not running.
