The back up is there on my new phone and I can see the chats and media on the chats. I can't see the WhatsApp media in my gallery. I haven't backed up to icloud after moving to iphone. Hey, was wondering if anyone could help me out here. For some days now I’ve been not getting any notifications from my apps, for instance Messenger, Snapchat, Instagram, my Authenticator apps and so on. The only app I get notifications from is Oura, the app to my ring and I do get text messages. The rest, nada. I’ve tried shutting my phone on and off, updating to the latest iOS, and updating the apps but nothing works. My MP7,1 turns sluggish and unresponsive after updating to macOS 15, and it has turned even worse after I updated to version 15.2 a few days ago, where the Mac no longer detects any Thunderbolt ports or PICE card I installed previously. The only way for me to solve it is to reset SMC every restart and pray it won't crash. I would like to hear from any MP7,1 user with macOS 15 if you encounter the same issues. Anyone using the new Magic Mouse with a Mac Pro 6,1 on Monterey? Any way to make the multi-touch gestures working? So I wanted to make a little experiment... I have a 32 inch 4K monitor as my main display. When it's the only one I use (at the actual 4K resolution so no scaling involved) the idle temperature fluctuates between 50ºC and 55ºC, sometimes even going below 50... This might be more of an iCloud question but so far it’s only on the iPhone. I was deleting attachments from messages earlier and some entire messages, and my phone randomly deleted my entire message history with a contact. I hadn’t been deleting anything from this contact’s messages, which is why it’s so weird. It also removed them from the Pinned section in the message inbox, temporarily then restored them. Hello, I have a problem for which I can't find a solution. I shoot my YouTube videos with my iPhone 15 Pro Max. They last about twenty minutes, and I'd like to shoot them in cinematic mode with background blur. Problem? I just used the move to iOS app to transfer from android to iPhone. Everything seems fine except for in the messaging app. When I look at the list of my messages it will show the recipient name and then my phone number. For example if I’m sending a message to my Mum, the message shows to Mum and 1 more which then lists my phone number. Any idea how to fix this ? Continue reading...

I just upgraded my M1 Pro macbook 14 to the m4 pro with the 1 tb hd and slightly faster chip (not the max but the step up pro). My M1 Pro was still working fine but I could start to feel the hesitation in it. For my purposes it worked. I soldered it back into place, no power, I tried again, ni power. I can't find any alternative to boot this thing. I just got a new MacBook Air. I noticed when selecting the wallpapers that some of the wallpapers have a little play button- sorta like the YouTube symbol- and they take forever to download. I’m trying to use Screen Time to set up an allowlist of websites for my kids to use. I’d like Safari locked down pretty strongly, but I don’t mind if some of their other applications, like Steam or Battle.net, make whatever requests they need to.
