This is a really annoying feature but I have no idea what it's actually called to turn it off. Hello! I recently discovered that when my new iPhone 16 Pro is in Standby mode and the alarm starts, pressing any of the physical buttons silences the alarm completely... whereas I would prefer it to just snooze for a few minutes, like it does when I press any button on my Apple Watch when it's on my bedside table. Am I missing something? TIL that the location update indicator, which always shows up on my device when unlocking, seems to be caused by the astronomy wallpaper I'm using (centered moon). I was sleeping with my phone on the charger across the room, hadn’t been on it in six hours. I was awoken to an audio that sounded like an instagram reel. I opened my phone and instagram was the last app that was open and even though there wasn’t a reel playing the sound kept going until I completely turned off my phone. Is my phone hacked? Like title says, can someone help me better understand how the optimize battery charging feature work? The past month with the feature on, I set it to 85% and I would wake up to my phone at 85%, but the past day or so, whenever I charge my phone now, it charged past 85%. Just bought the base M4 mini, it’s more powerful than I expected for some basic photo editing, 3d modeling (and some future video editing). I also ordered a 14” M4 Pro MBP, but after seeing the mini’s perf, I realized it’s just an overkill for some portable casual computing. I haven’t even opened the MBP box and will return in a few days. Instead of this, I traded-in my 2018 MBA with 16G ram at BestBuy for a sweet $525 value and ordered the M2 MBA with 16G ram for $799 (will keep an eye on for further price matching opportunity).
