Hi everyone! Got this 2017 MacBook Air, with macOS Mojave installed. The software update gives me the option of update to macOS Monterey. I tried to do it, but it kept stuck at verifying "(null)". I searched for some solutions, and after reading some tips, followed the instructions to reset SMC and mvram. Also renamed the disk to Macintosh HD and reinstalled the macOS Mojave. Hi Everyone, I have recently updated to Mac OS Sequoia (15.1). After that, the external hard drive I usually use for Time Machine backups isn't mounted at all. I can't see the external hard disk on the Disk Utility app as well. By touching on top of the external hard disk, I can feel that the hard disk is running internally. Previously, I had problems like the Mac OS taking little longer time to mount the hard disk. Now, it is not mounted at all even I left the Mac and hard disk for a whole night. Is it possible to set display to 90% or 75% zoom size on macOS Sequoia so more content can fit? I'm using a 3440 x 1440 px Ultrawide (LG) - 35-inch --- and feel that the display and text and everything (from browser to settings, icons and more) look a bit too big, especially after using MacBook's high resolution. So my question is, is it possible to set a custom resolution or some other way to fit more content on the monitor while retaining crisp quality? Already taken a quick look at SwitchResX and BetterDisplay but seems custom resolutions were supported for this monitor. I’ve been a Mac user since 2008 and haven’t used a Windows machine since 2013. Now, starting a new job, I have no choice but to use a PC. I use Alfred workflows heavily (snippets, custom search, quick dictionary and spellcheck, etc), Fantasical to sync personal and work calendars, and a host of other less important but still comfortable programs. I deleted snapchat on this iPhone and despite deleting the app, the app still shows up in settings when searching for "Snapchat." When I click it, it just goes to Apps section in settings and Snapchat isn't listed there. I restarted the Phone and its still there. How do I fix this issue? Previous with my 8-Core CPU I had bought all 2933 R-DIMMs for when it came time to upgrade, and here I am, with a w3245m. Is there a trick I'm missing for getting a Mac Pro 2019 to re-register it's RAM after a CPU upgrade to 16-Core? With the old cMPs 5,1, when upgrading, you could bump the 1066 to 1333 if you had the correct DIMMs. Source: MacRumors

I'll be using this Mac Pro and the screen will go black and the fans will rev up to maximum RPM. I have dual CPU and 32 gigs of RAM, stock Nvidia GPU. I will run AHT, extended test mode, it will never repeat what happens when the screen goes black and fans rev up. I’ve run into a pretty substantial bug in the messages app across both my iPhone, iPad, as well as my Apple Watch. Usually, my phone lets me text anybody I want (a pretty normal feature in a phone, if you ask me), but one of my contacts is always causing issues. For example, whenever I click on this person’s contact to message them, the iMessage app acts extremely buggy, freezes, and glitches all over the place. The exact same thing happens on my iPad Air M1 (iPhone 15 plus and Apple Watch SE 2, for context).
