Hello. I have two alarms. One at 6AM, another one at night, however... Two days ago an alarm started ringing at 7:30AM. It isn't set up. It doesn't appear on the list. Today I turned on the phone and the uninstalled apps consume appeared with a 33kb. Lol I checked before turning phone off for going to sleep and resetting the stats. Hi this has been driving me crazy. I've added the clock widget and it's just this big square that looks awful. I want the time to be displayed like it is on the LOCKED screen except on my home screen. The internet isn't helping much and I've gone through every setting I can find! I don't know if it happens to you, but lately it happens to me and some friends that since a couple of updates, we feel that we make a lot more mistakes typing with the keyboard, as if the keys were slightly moved. This is semi related to yesterday's post. I bought a Mac Mini and I'm planning to just use the keyboard and mouse I already have, at least at first. I would like the Mac layout, but I understand the small differences, like the super key and ctrl situation on a standard keyboard. Do you enjoy using the first party keyboards, or did you upgrade to something like a mechanical keyboard with Mac layout? All those YouTuber with their desk are not how a daily creator’s desk are. My desk is cluttered with usb cable, storage devices, editing keyboard, multi monitors. I can clean up myself and even at the best of my effort, I’ve never been able to even come close to those minimalist setup much less maintaining it day to day. I came from the M1 Mac Mini and this is not available on it but the M4 Mac Mini has low power mode like on the laptops. You might wonder why anyone would want this. I live in a place where power outages are common so I have battery and gas backups. The M4 will drop down to a max of 25 watts versus the 65 watts. The M1 Mac Mini max watts is 39 watts. Effectively the M4 becomes the M1 with lower single core but same multi core, and 1.5x gpu just with 25 watts (35% less power). The fan never gets above 1000 RPM. Typical usage is around 13 watts so with low power monitor I can hit around 18 watts versus the typical 35 watts on my M1 mini with monitor. submitted by /u/suta…

Got the new M4 Pro mini with 1gig ethernet and considering returning it and going for one with 10 gig. I’ve had 1gig FTTH internet the last couple of years and my contract is up soon. Can get 3gig for not much more than the price I’m paying now, so I’m considering switching to it. Looking at 10gig usb/thunderbolt adapters, and the prices are way higher than what Apple is charging. Looking at some of the TB4 docks (can’t find any TB5 yet), and those only come with 2.5gig. Hi all, I have a 2019 MacBook Pro i9 32 gb ram. I want to get into making videos and courses online. While 1080p videos are sufficient for my use case. I’d love to get into 4K videos too. I have a 10gig network into the house connected to a synology nas. I am considering getting the new Mac mini as my MacBook stays docked 99% of the time, and I don’t need the portability but would appreciate the performance boost in terms of video editing. I am really impressed with how easy the Migration Assistant made transferring everything over to the new box. It literally took a couple of clicks and I am up and running. Of course, I really notice absolutely no difference. I was not taxing my previous Mac Mini at all, the M4 is seriously overkill for my use. But hey, I got it! It has happened only twice. The first time it happened, the battery was around 65% when I closed the lid for the night, only to return in the morning to see that it was at 30%. I chalked it up to a streaming software I kept unclosed. But today, I woke up at 7.15am, opened the lid at 48%, used it for 20mins, came back to it and it was at 19%. I have an old hard drive (G-Tech 250) w/ FW400 and USB2.0 ports and a Macbook Pro from 2014 that have most of my songs (used to buy songs/albums). I would like to transfer them to my new iphone 16 pro and was wondering if anyone had advice on the best way to do it? Hi guys, I've been running into some Bluetooth issues with my AirPods since updating my MacBook Pro (2022) to Sequoia 15.1. Strangely enough, I’m not having any problems with my third-party Bluetooth keyboard and mouse just the AirPods Pro 2. I'm considering getting a Mac Mini, MacBook, and maybe eventually a Mac Studio. I want to use the same configuration/profiles/settings for each one so that they're pretty much identical across machines.
