Took some scenery photos during the day and had some intermittent issues certain photos taken. It seems Photos app is glitching some of my photos and displaying weird shadowings. If I send or upload these photos, they appear fine. Just shows up weird within my Photos app. I have taken a screenshot and posted here. Anyone know why this is happening? I'm a recent convert from Android/Samsung (now sporting a shiny new iPhone 16 Pro Max), where I was an avid user of "Google Assistant" ("Hey Google"). I've been trying hard to love Siri, but so far, she keeps failing me. Today, I asked, "Hey Siri, call Whole Foods Market in Lafayette" (Lafayette is a nearby town). Siri responded with something like "I don't see Whole Foods Market in your contacts". WTF? I then asked Google Assistant the exact same question, and it looked up the Whole Foods Market phone number for me, and happily called them. Surely Siri can look things up like this? Hey IOS, I’m new here but hoping for some help. All I want is to keep my iPhone 14 Pro on vibrate but have it actually ring out loud when someone calls me twice in a row. We live in tornado alley and my family complains about not being able to contact me when necessary to check in. I’ve tried getting focus mode to work but for some reason I’m struggling to get it to actually work. The way I was able to accomplished this was by opening YouTube on Firefox on iPhone, and opening the desktop version of the YouTube website there. But it looks like they've stopped this from working. Is there any way to get YouTube PIP (picture in picture) on iPhone now for free, maybe also something that will likely work in the future. Hearing assistance hands down is the best feature. The one thing I miss the most from Samsung is adapt sound. Which is a does a hearing test and then adjust everything how you hear. Having this as an option on iPhone is so great, while it says I have no significant hearing loss my ears are different with the frequencies I can hear. It is noticeable when listening to music and I toggle it on and off. Before this I had headphones accommodations turn on which work well. The bugs didn’t help the cause But after about a month, and customizing it to my preference and after iOS 18.1 tweaks and bug fixes, I think I absolutely love the update. Looking back iOS 17 version it looks just as weird and so limiting to a point, I imagine how we were okay with so limited customization for so long. Specifically, I am now retired and my iPhone and iPad have multiple accounts. The original account was a work account and I also have a personal account. The work account was shut off a while back and I realized that my contact list in my notes and I suspect other things were associated with the original account. I asked them to turn the account back on and they did and I thought that I had moved everything over to my new account. Unfortunately, they just turned it off again and I’m having the same problem.
