So I recently updated my iPhone to iOS 18.2 and I have came across an issue I’ve never experienced before. So before updating my unread email number was always 2,425. But after updating it, the numbers are dropping down constantly. As of right now, it says 198 which is not true at all. I scrolled down there was more than 198 unread messages. So I’m not sure why it’s saying that. I have my old phone that is still in iOS 17 and everything is the exact same way it was on my current phone for updating to 18.2, is anyone else experiencing this issue? First time setting up a server and I picked up a 2011 Mac mini, i7 model with dual 500GB drives. Since I will only be using it to store media, how do I use the dual drives best? It won’t automatically write on the second drive once the first is full, correct? i cracked my laptop screen on my m1 air of 4 years and i’m deciding between repairing the screen for ~$450 or upgrading to the m3 air or waiting for the m4 air for around $1.3k i need at least 512 gb storage, 16gb ram. i use my laptop for coding, video editing, and some video games! i’ve heard that the battery on m1 will not be good by the 5th year of use, but rn for me my m1 works perfectly fine. i’ve heard that mac airs last around 7 years. any advice would be helpful! submitted by /u/minhyungs [link] [comments]

Okay, this is debatable, but for the best looking, I would probably go for the 6,1 Mac pro trashcan. I just think it looks awesome. And for the hardest to clean, I have a few contenders, Firstly: Mac pro trashcan, it has 300 little vents at the bottom that clog with dust then you have to manually clean each one at a time, it's a pain to open the housing and nothing is actually simple. Hello I’ll hopefully be able to get an iMac 2021 (M1) base version with 8 gigs of RAM, would it be enough for web browsing very light gaming and light photo editing? I have disconnected/reconnected, gone through every system setting (accessibility, trackpad, mouse, and bluetooth settings) AND even killed all doc in the Terminal. I bought these brand new to help with my use in Ableton for music production and I love how the feel but they won't work how I NEED THEM TO with gestures and function inputs. Nothing seems to work. I decided to add to my collection (and vast number owned at some point) of Macs. Ordered a 15 inch M3 MBA 16gb, 256 gb (Starlight) and an M4 Mac Mini 16gb, 256 from Costco. Should have by the 30th. New Mac Mini will go in the home recording studio, M1 goes in the home office. Old 13 inch MBA goes in the bedroom (Chromebooks in there will see light duty). The new 15 inch MBA will replace my '14 15 inch MBP, which pretty much stays in my home office, along with my '11 13 inch MBP (computers everywhere...really).
