Title says most of it. I got a MacBook air sent to me for school and half the time the dang thing won't connect to my 5GHz wifi network. 2.4 is completely fine besides saying my network isn't secure (it is). But I'm having the worst time getting my wifi to actually transmit data over the internet. Every single other device in my apartment is fine, from googleOS, Windows, Linux, and even iOS phones and tablets. So it HAS to be how things are configured. I'd like to mention that both networks come from the same modem. Sometimes the network is completely fine. I'm currently sitting on the train and I thought to myself, why doesn't Apple make a cellular MacBook? I mean we have cellular iPads. It would be beneficial to use a cellular connection when I need to work in places that don't have Wi-Fi. Also safer. As the title suggests. Been looking for a single app that would combine both flight and boarding pass tracking as well as train tickets and possibly other means of transport like buses. I am using Trainline for train tickets but I hate that I can't combine the tickets and my full travel itinerary in one app! There must be an app that can do it? Hello, first time iPhone user. Bought an 11, configured using my Android, upgraded to ios 18 and everything looks good but when I try to install an app it asks for my password. I put in the password and it says it's the first time it's being used and needs to be reviewed so I click that and it just hangs on a spinning icon. Left it for about half an hour to no avail. What the title says. I have T-Mobile and now have RCS Messaging. With iOS 18.0.1 I can see when Android users read my messages and when they’re typing. I have my read receipts turned off in Settings and in the thread I share with the Android user. WhatsApp is automatically suffixing a number to the device name in the list of Linked devices shown in WhatsApp app settings. The suffixed number has no correlation to the actual number of linked devices at that time. For example, a number “2” is suffixed to the device name in list of Linked devices shown in WhatsApp, even though that computer/ device is the only one shown as a linked device. If we try to edit the device name to remove the suffixed digit, it does not move forward. Whatsapp does not respond to emails about this issue. Hey I try to record some videos with final cut camera and then save them on my SSD (Samsung T7 with his USB-C Cable sold with it). I used Final cut camera the day it was release and I didn't get any issues with it : just connect my SSD, the app recognize it, and voila. But since I moved to IOS18, FCC don't see my SSD, the same I used before. Black magic camera see it, the file app see it, aything but Final cut camera. Did someone had or have this issue ? It's common issue with ios but just gets so worse. Sign into an app and turn on face id if the app allows it or leave it just signed in with no face id needed. Few days or weeks later the app signs out. I think it's a developer issue that the apps clear some data and lose the login information. Does anyone know of how to avoid this. I have an elderly parent who has just about completed a fairly painful transition from an old Android phone to an iphone using Assisted Access. Any technology transition is hard for people with vision and cognition challenges. But we got there. Assisted Access as a concept is great, it's very nearly as good in execution, just with a lot of rough edges and gaps. I now have just one thing left that I can't figure out.
