  1. Hi abubakar_nadeem. Welcome to FPCH.:) What your looking for is Task Manager. In Vista and Windows7, it is CTRL+SHIFT+ESC.
  2. Hi Dunnsdale. If this program is not showing in Add and Remove in the Control panel, then stop the program from running. Find the file in your C:Progam Files, and delete. Then run all Security Scans. Not sure how to do any of these steps, then by all means ask.:)
  3. Hi Cheley38.Welcome to FPCH. Could you tell us what Operating System you are using,Please. IE6 is a Browser.
  4. Hi namu. You can dowload this .exe file from here. kb888111xpsp2.exe user reviews and ratings - CNET Download.com
  5. Hi Odd Job. My Internet Explorer is about the same as yours with 5 or 6 tabs open. Your CPU is only 56%. I can't see a problem, although I am not an expert. Internet Explorer is a slug of a browser at any time. I use a much faster browser now.
  6. I am thinking this is a corrupt rundll32.exe File. I would backup all Data, then do a Repair Install, unless you are familiar with the Registry.:)
  7. On the Acer brightness adjustment should be the FN and L and R arrow Keys. These LCD Screens get dimmer with age. May need replacing. Hook up an external Monitor if you have one around, and that should tell you, if the problem is the LCD Screen.
  8. Hi Dean. How are you trying to adjust the Brightness?
  9. Hi Boo. You can download 3.5 but not install. Windows7 requires .Net Framework 4.0
  10. Your Boot manager will not work unless the latest OS (Windows7) was installed last. There are a number of ways to get your Boot Manager to work again, however I favour a Repair Install. Save your Documents just in case you make a stuff up.:)
  11. Which ever OS system, you have open is your C:drive That is why the Drive letters change.:)
  12. I suggest you do a Repair Install, if you have the Disc.
  13. Hi. I think Nasa satellite images, are awesome.:) The Best NASA Satellite Photos from the Last 50 Years | Space | DISCOVER Magazine
  14. APC INDEX MISMATCH could be Driver incompatibility,or Overheating, for starters. How long is your Computer running, before it tries to reboot, BOB ? Anything odd showing in Device Manager?
  15. Hi Bob.You have to do all the things Techies ask,or your never going to fix this problem,my friend. You have to uncheck"Automatic restart" so it doesn't reboot. If this has been done, it shouldn't reboot. They want the machine not to reboot, show a blue screen, and for you to record and post the 4 Hex Values. EG 0x000000E From these numbers, Bob,Techies can get a clearer picture of what's going on.
  16. That's good news Bob. Let's hope what ever was causing the problem,is gone.:)
  17. Hi Bob.There are many possible causes for this issue you are having. Firstly I would run all Scans,to eliminate a possible Virus. Overheating can be another reason. What are your Temps, when it starts rebooting? A failing PSU is another possibility.
  18. Forgot to mention,Howard, In Windows 7, "Windows Sidebar" was renamed "Windows Desktop Gadgets"
  19. Hi Howard Welcome to FPCH. Install the Skype Gadget this way and it should work for you. rіght click gadgets–>search for skype gadget аnd add іt–>first login from your installed skype аnd minimize іt–>now login from your skype gadget аnd it will ѕtаrt working.
  20. Hi heman. That would depend on what you use your PC for.:)
  21. Any clues when clicking on, "Mice and other pointing devices" in Device Manager? Any Yellow Icon?
  22. Hi Des Welcome to Extreme Tech Support - Free PC Help.:) I think your best bet would be to buy another one identical. Not Expensive. Amazon have them. Take both to to an Electronics Shop, and let them exchange the parts needed. Don't try and do this yourself.
  23. Hi joee Welcome to FPCH.:) During System Recovery, you use the ARROWS on your Keyboard.
  24. You can do this to your Photo Files as well,so when you are watching a slide show, for example, they stay in the order you wish.:) Have Fun.
  25. Hi oldog. There are a number of ways to to do this in XP, without the use of a Third Party Program. Why dont you have one folder in Documents, with all your Sub-Folders in Alpabetical order? Name each Sub-Folder like so. 00A_whatever 00B_whatever 00C_whatever 00D_whatever Use this prefix and don't forget the underscore, then Windows wont mix them all up. This would keep all the Alphabetical Folders contained. If this doesn't suit you then there are other methods.:)
