I folowd the instruction on the thread and loded this down 64-bit_Add_Drives_to_Navigation_Pane.reg http://www.tenforums.com/images/dl2.png 4. Save the .reg file to your desktop. But it didn't give me the option to put it in the desk top, so I dont know where its gone now! when I followed the link it told me to run this explorer shell:::{a6482830-08eb-41e2-84c1-73920c2badb9} And it did show me the external drive, but it showed just one

Trying to back up the computer, I have 2T external drive, with 1.8 space left on ti, and a 1T computer, when I try to do the back up, its telling me I dont have enough space, cant someone tell me what I am doing wrong yet again please and put me right, thanks PS its showing my external drive Toshiba E: 2 times for some reason, and I cant delete either of them, I dont know if that makes a difference, but just saying

When I try to format it, it says "the driver is in use another program process is using this drive you want to format it anyway?" but it still wont let me do it, and I have tried to do this in safe mode too so its not doing it for me

I think I wil stick this one in the bin, cant get it to improve at all, all I wanted it for was to do the electronics and diagnostics on my car, it was small enough to put into the glove box

Someone just gave me a laptop (Compaq nc63020) to say its slow would be an understatement (I think its running off steam lol) I have tryed to update it (it was slow so I left it updating overnight, after 12 hours it and it got to 104 updates out of 138, then I just got angry and couldn't be bothered to wait until it was done so turned it off, can someone tell me how to simply reset this (I have a win7 disk to load it up again) please, I need everything off this so I can start it all afresh thanks

Well I have 10 now, so I will live with it, I did roll back and I took MSE off and reloaded it, but still dint work, i just dont have the know how to do more than that, so up loaded 10, but still having problems with it, doing a virus check now it Windows Defender (but I suspect its the same thing)

How do I get rid of the password that I have to log in again, its a home computer so I dont need it, thanks.... Lots of things I dont like about 10, the blank screes when its starting up, my screen also shut off, and its still loading, very strange

Ok this started with MSE not updating, well it his the fan, on 7 I couldn't get my browsers to work, Safari, Firefox, or IE. I had internet, I could go on to steam and play on line games, I think I have a virus, that wouldn't let me update MSE, and when I took it off (uninstalled it) the virus took hold then, I tried to start up Malwarebytes Anti-Malware, but a box came us saying DNSAPL.dll is missing, the only way I could sort this out is by going over to windows 10, but this is having its own problems as well, just thought you guys might like to know this,

Top man, it worked thanks, but now I have a red X where my internet connection is (the screen) at the bottom right hand side where it shows you have a connection, and that bloody windows 10 logo is back again, but thanks I have a working virus killing machine again at least!!

I just uninstalled it.. then reinstalled it, made it worse, because I have nothing now and I still have the 0x80080005 coming up!! that will teach me wont it?? lol

Microsoft security essentials, I am trying to update it, and it keeps failing, is this supported any more do you know? the error code I get is 0x80080005 help please, thanks guys

its all ok now... changed back to 7 though, why do they try there best to hide everything?? lost my bookmarks on 10, and a lot of other stuff, so back to 7 lol
