Have you tried a different browser? I get the same problem on the Sony Playstation log in screen. After clicking 10 lots of traffic images I gave up with Chrome and tried Firefox, I didn't even get any images to click and it logged me straight in. At other times it works the other way around, Firefox doesn't work but Chrome does - seems odd.

I tried using a template today, after Windows had updated Word, and got a runtime error followed by a message saying Works couldn't find Word. This time I checked my Start Menu and Word is still there and ran fine. I've got what I needed but will leave Word and see what happens next time I get updates for it.

It's old Works Suite 2004 and Windows 7. I've got the templates into Word, having reinstalled it for the 3rd time in 3 days, then saved them and loaded them into LibreOffice Writer. Basically all I'm doing with Works and Word is getting the templates to start with. I search online and couldn't find what I need for free, as I know they are in Works I thought it would be quicker to use that but it would appear not.

I have Microsoft Works installed which has Word included. I don't use if often but a few days ago I needed to use a Word template from the Works launcher. It gave me an error to say Word wasn't installed properly. I found the disc and reinstalled Word, everything worked perfectly until I rebooted after installing updates. Now when I use the template it says Winword.exe can't be found. I've reinstalled Word again and almost instantly got a notification that there are updates for Office, no mention of Word, just Office and other parts of Office that I don't have like Publisher. Why do the updates remove Word? It's a legal copy, I have the serial number on the back of the disc that I purchased a few years ago.

I didn't realize it was still going. Haven't used it for years.

I'm not sure I understood the question but are the songs converted to MP3 from the original CD before being written to the CDRW? If so would something like MP3 Gain be any good? Software to "normalize" the volume of the whole disc before it is written?

Looks good and I found a "New Posts" link I do have some graphics missing which seems to be down to my browser, because I just tried in Chrome and its all there.

The import function didn't offer to import from Windows Live Mail, I found a website which said I needed an extension to import Windows Live Mail, but it didn't work either. Live Mail seems OK again now so I'm not bothering, but thanks for replying.

At the moment I find it annoying that there doesn't seem to be a "New posts" link which I used to use to see what was new.

Unfortunately that isn't possible, as my email account requires a POP3 email client. I haven't had a Hotmail address for a long time. I rebooted the computer and the problem is fixed. I rely on Windows Live Mail, it has all my inboxes in one place.

I started WIndows Live Mail today and it just says "Connecting" all the time, never comes up with any new emails and no error messages. I rely on Windows Live Mail for all my email accounts and I can't receive my mail. I thought I'd try one of the alternatives, Thunderbird seems to be the most popular, unfortunately I couldn't find a way to import my accounts from Live Mail so that wasn't any help.

When I got Firefox Quantum and found my addons weren't working, specifically NoScript, I checked the NoScript website and it said the version I had would work with Firefox ESR so I installed that instead of Quantum. At the moment I have Firefox working with no problems and all the addons I'd been using still work fine. Not sure what will happen when this ESR version gets updated later this year but hopefully by then the addons will all be undated and working.

I'm glad you posted this, I occasionally get a loss of LAN but my wifi carrys on fine. I usually leave it and it comes back on its own.

A friend has a problem with her Windows 7 desktop, she said "the bar at the bottom keeps going white instead of blue". Apparently her task bar goes that that ancient Windows 98 appearance and all her windows look weird. She did a system restore and it was fine until Windows updated then it went wrong again. Is there an easy fix? I searched online but couldn't find anything more recent than 2012.

Thanks Rustys, I read through the links then checked the General settings and changed "Disable automatic screen-rotation" to "ON" and its working.

:mad: I'm annoyed again now - the LiveUSB version worked perfectly, even the touchscreen. Now its installed I have to press F9 to get a boot menu otherwise it boots Windows, that's not a big problem though. The annoying thing is the screen was rotated 90 degrees when I first booted, I fixed that but the touchscreen is still working at that angle. I can use it as it is but without the touchscreen. I'm just annoyed that the Live version worked perfectly but the install doesn't.

I'm attempting to set it up to dual boot.
