    Hi What happens just before it resets? Is there any error messages, a BSOD or does it just resets when doing nothing? Could be malware but only if all hardware is working fine. Try another PSU.

    Hi Do you get any beeps? Is there fans spinning? Does the Monitor come on? Does the hard drive "spin"? Is the PSU working? Could be alot of things so Just connect the very basic hardware and then post back with more details. ;)

    Hi Check that your anti-virus isn't blocking it.

    You can uninstall the driver for the sound then re-boot and see if windows picks up the sound card. What do you guys think of this idea?

    Go to start -> Run type dxdiag then go to th sound tab and see what it says there and post back here.

    I think the speakers normally go in the green one,mic is pink.

    Did a google on the file name but found nothing. Normally it is a program that has been uninstalled and now windows is looking for the file. But first post the hijack this log for Seth.

    Hi try switching off "User Account Control" and then right-click on the program and choose "Run as Administrator". Hope this helps
