when i downloaded 31 updates (1 optional and the rest important) my pc wont load after restarting and just go to the blue screen thingy i update my pc on 4/12/13 Win 8 pro 32bit View this thread

Hello, Not long ago Microsoft released new update - kb2775511 - a hotfix rollup for Windows 7 Service Pack 1 (SP1)-based and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1-based computers. This hotfix rollup contains 90 hotfixes that were released after the release of SP1 for Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2. My question is where could I get the list of updates which are included to kb2775511 rollup patch? Could you please provide me with that list? It is very important because all patches which are installing in Customer's environment should be assessed and some of the already released updates are already in black list. Thanks in advance! Some files are "missing or damaged in registry" according to driver information in Device Manager. Uninstalling device driver and prompting a reinstall through Windows Update fails every time. Driver version listed is 6.1.7601.17514 (dated 21/06/2006). No option to roll back, updates aren't being discovered.. View this thread

Hi Folks, This is making me crazy. I spent hours and I must throw in the towel. I don't like when things like System Interrupt shows up in my resource Monitor, (CPU tab), even if it isn't really doing anything to slow down the computer that I can tell. But it wasn't there before the Windows Updates I installed a few hours ago and I have no idea why. I didn't add anything to my computer that wasn't there before the updates so why now? This happened about 6 or 8 months ago and just before I was about to give up and post the problem, I restarted the computer for like the 10 time that night and the Sys intrpt draw was gone!? it made no sense to me but what the heck, I'll take it. Ok, so I disabled my Network wireless card but SI was still there. The SI is listed at the very top of the Resource monitors CPU page but will drop to 4th place everytime I remove my Wireless Keyboard and Mouse dongle from the USB port on my Computer. The 'Perfmon' and 'Chrome' and a svchost.exe rush to the top in that order. Then I plug it back in and a minute later the SI is back at the top of the list. I don't know if that helps anyone figure this out but I thought I'd mention it. Anyway, the SI draws an average 0.17, (.15 to .20), in the "Average CPU" column and in the "CPU" column it jumps back and forth between 1 and 0., (no idea what any of that really means). I was going to try a System Restore tomorrow...maybe. Below is my computer info. It's late so i don't think I'll see an answer tonight. I'll check back again in the morning. I am repeatedly being offered the same .Net Framework updates - KB 2656351 and KB 2600217. However, when I view the update history it reports that these updates have been successfully installed. I am running Windows 7 Home Premium - 64 bit edition. I have had no problems with any other updates. I have also run Microsoft Fix It but the issue is still there. View this thread

includung The child there are 22 remote users none of whom was allowed in by us.They were using this computer though a neighbors Wi-Fi connection when I had our ISP turned off long enough to wait for a hard wired router with extra firewalls on each port. They assumed ownership of two ports faster than I was abl. There are at least 6 that extremely knowledgeable about setting up programs that take over all of our users rights and enough pieces of programs we try to install to assist with this problem those do not work correctly. We have tried to by special programs to protect us from malware and every other type of securuity program to help with thses things we could locate to assist with these. When we installed that the users will remove the most important DLL files that are part of those so they fail to work. I'm disabled and my computer is more of a way to socialize with other people. They of course know this and they do all they can to keep me off line. I've fought for ownership of these files only to have more malware installed to prevent those from working. It's come to the point that if I'm running our computer by doing recovery on this computer every thing I can. I know I need help. Otherwise the only thing I can do is to turn these computers off entirely. I hate that idea but am very tired of fighting to use our computer and the right to use the ISP we pay for to use. my computer restarts after a critical download from microsoft and on the restart will only show black screen and a pointer. i restart by power button. run a restore and it always go to just before that update. it has happened 4 times now. what can i do. thank you for any help.win View this thread

While attempting to download framework .net 2.0 SP2, updates KB2742601, KB2789646, KB982666, I recieve this error code 8E5EO3FA. How do I get these apparently serious downloads installed. Operating system is Vista Home premium as installed in a HPPavilion mode; dr2715nr. Any help? View this thread

Getting Error code: 800736B3 when trying to install updates: kb2808735kb2813170 kb2823324 kb2799926It's Win 7 x64The error has only happened in the last week, since the last batch of updates.This install has been on for less than a month so is pretty clean, tried virus and spyware scan using Kaspersky and superantispyware nothing came up.Tried installing the Windows6.1-KB947821-v26-x64 hot fix, just sit's there, does nothing for ages and still does not fix any problems after several re starts.Tried the Microsoft fixit thing, says it "repairs windows update components" but it apparently does not as it comes up with exactly the same thing after re starts. Tried manually downloading and installing the updates, they still fail.Tried rolling back windows to the earliest available slot, only 2 days ago, still didn't work. Tried uninstalling all windows updates for the 2 previous weeks, still no joy. I have an ASUS G55V laptop with Windows 7, and it just restarted on me without a warning or an indication that it was planning to restart (like the yellow box, which wasn't there). It started to configure windows update and I'm sitting here like, "WHAT?!" I was in the middle of a huge art project on Adobe Illustrator. It did indicate if I wanted to save before quitting, and I thought perhaps I pressed a key that was a shortcut to quitting. I chose cancel, don't quit, and the entire thing disappeared. College students don't have time to deal with these things, so this is very frustrating.The other thing is my laptop is set to install these updates at 3am... it was 6pm when it restarted. So, whoever is in charge of tweaking this thing, please, fix it. Windows needs to be more obvious in warning the user that it is trying to restart, and it needs to restart at the time indicated, not fifteen hours later during work. Maybe it could ask, "Hey, I want to restart. You clicked yes, but maybe you read it wrong. Are you sure you wanna restart?" since a box that says "Windows restarting in 3, 2, 1" is scarier and very last minute, that is, if it even pops up. In the meantime, if there's any options available, how do I make sure this never happens again? I don't want to be working on a project and saving every twenty seconds because I'm so paranoid that my laptop is gonna restart on me again. I am unable to run a scan using Microsoft Security Essentials. The screen is frozen in red with the warning that my system is unprotected. In addition there is a red x at the bottom left of my screen. I have removed several threats from the sytem, however, I am unable to unfreeze the secutity system. Has this happend to you? I needed to get to my email, I restored my system to an to an earlier date, Took care of my email and shut down the PC. It reinstalled the update. Since I don't like the idea of uninstalling a critical update, any ideas of what is causing the problem?... Frank View this thread

Immediately after MSE was installed, it detected Trojan:JS/Seedabutor.B.Microsoft Encyclopedia entryUpdated: Jan 21, 2013 | Published: Jan 11, 2013 AliasesTrojan.JS.Redirector.xa (Kaspersky) JS.Redirector.175 (Dr.Web) I deleted Java and emptied all temporary Internet files repeatedly. So far, I've ran 4 scans (with some via Safe Mode) and nothing was found to exist, including a MSE full scan. (CCleaner, Malwarebytes, MS Safety Scanner, TDSSKiller) The Kaspersky alias is Trojan.JS.Redirector.xa but their TDSSKiller didn't detect anything.I've read several online postings about the manual removal of this Trojan but of the files mentioned, I can find few on my system.Before I follow non-MS instructions for removal, I wanted to ask MSE experts whether this is a real threat or a false positive. And, if it is real, what are the steps for removal and clean-up?Lastly, a MSE newbie question. I went to help on MS Essentials and found a 6 step help, which I did all 6 steps and still cannot get MS Essentials to work properly. When I log on it's green. When I open my browser (Firefox) it turns yellow. I open MS Essentials, runs a quick scan and it turns green, but within an hour turns yellow again. It's updated and still have no solutions. There no "fix it" solution anywhere I can locate. I have Windows 7. I sure hope someone can help or I am going to have to gets a virus or anti-virus program somewhere else.
