If not paid within 72 days it will stayed locked. Computer has been infected by Malware. There is nothing to click on to remove this page we have to turn the computer off completely. Starting to look at deploying Office 2103 through SCCM In previous version it was recommended to deploy the 32-bit flavour of Office even on a x64 client machine. My questions are 1. Do I assume now that given there are sub-folders for x86 and x64 that you should be deploying as per the relevant O/S i.e. running setup.exe in the x64 sub-folder for a 64 bit client 2. Assuming yes to the above does this means you have to create 2 MSP file one for x86 and one for x64 or will one created via x86 work ok for a 64 client? 3. Can I still place the custom MSP file into the root. Hi, I have windows 7 starter. I recently had a trojan virus on my computer it was called Trojan:Win32/Ramnit.A This virus had caused me to not be able to turn on my security center but now it has been fixed and the security center works now. However, my action center is telling me that I need to turn on my firewall but it won't let me it says: Action Center can't turn on Firewall. So I clicked turn it on manually but when windows firewall comes up it says "windows firewall is not using the recommended settings to protect your computer". Next to the message is a button which says "use recommended settings but when I click on it an error message comes up saying: "Windows Firewall cannot change some of your settings. Error code:0x80070424. I used the diagnose and fix Windows firewall service problems automatically (Microsoft fix it).. I ran the program and after the troubleshooting had completed it said that 2 issues were found: 1. Windows could not start windows Firewall. 2. Windows firewall service is not started. That being said I have scanned for viruses and spyware (as suggested on other sites.) Still nothing.HERE IS WHAT IS STRANGE -After a reboot and the control panel won't open (as well as My Documents, Search, Recycle bin, My computer, etc) I right click Start, properties, Start Menu Tab, customize button, advanced ta, and select Control Panel - display as link (IT IS ALREADY SELECTED) click O.K. and apply. when I click on the star (favorites menu) and click on the history tab, I have no visable browser history. the only option that shows is search history, with a drop down arrow and if I choose it, I get a search box. even if I type a webpage I know I have visited, nothing turns up in the search. I've checked my internet options. I do not have clear history on exit checked. I have all history setting at default, storage size at 250 and days to store at 20. I have unistalled ie 10, and there same problem exists in ie9. reinstalled ie 10, and still no history. any suggestions would be appreciated. I have tried to fix problem with turning on Windows Defender... my last attempt to register DLL files has come iup with "the module missip32.dll failed to load. Make sure the binary is stored at the specified path or debug it to check for problems with the binary or dependent .dll files. The specified module could not be found. I am unable to send emails direct from web sites or print them out. I'm talking about email forms s you fill out on site thren send. I was able to do this but now they won't go. I tried to send email to gma (Good Morning America)), got back an error message denied delivery I think it was code 411. I had never seen that before. I am able to print emails and puzzles with no problem. I am able to send emails, no problem. I have tried to restore to several point's but doesn't work. Down loaded updatedio's made no difference.. I opened a Word document sent from my work location to my home location. Work runs Word 2003. Home is Word 2010. Upon opening the document at home the mouse pointer takes on the character of the swirling circle that is obnoxious and won't stop. When I mouse outside the Word document - it resumes it's normal character. Over the Word document it resumes the swirling circle. Does anyone have an answer for this? View the thread

When I run Sysinternals Autoruns, it shows processes and services that are installed on Windows such that they will run automatically when the system starts up. I see that there are three entries for startup services, identified as these: vseamps AVSDK5 On Access API - Authentium, Inc vsedsps AVSDK5 Event Notification Service - Authentium, Inc. vseqrts AVSDK5 Quarantine Service - Authentium, Inc. I cannot see what their purpose would be or whether they are necessary for Windows to function properly. I can print in color but cannot print the black text portion of anything. I have put in a new black cartridge and cleaned the heads a dozen times or more. I have tried printing from IE, Chrome, Word and Wordpad. I have reinstalled the printer driver and tried to update with a Vista driver but not sure it was the right one. Nothing changed anyway.
