I formated my computer and when it came back up I am still having problems installing software. I am running Win Vista home edition. I updated to SP2. How can I check to see if I am still missing something. I did all the updates already. I can install my printer, MS office 2003 gives me a 2349 error and yesterday I was using my F drive for pictures and it said something about formating it. Am I missing a component or something? I have win 7 retail 32 bit installed and have a DVD of 64bit, can I upgrade to 64bit CPU and format and use 64bit OS with no problems with licence. I also have windows 7 pro upgrade activation code although I do not use it. Also will ther be any problems with my office 2007 - also installed on my laptop as this is a OEM. Thank you . I have followed the instructions given in reply to previous questions for dealign with error message DNS server not responding (checking ipconfig eg). Problem persists ; connection keeps dropping. My machine is running 32bit version of Windows 7 and I am considering upgrading it to 64bit system. I had run Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor, the result showed that the system needs at least 2GB of RAM (the result is uploaded in the Skydrive link https://skydrive.live.com/redir?resid=CD59C312432E2341!110). My concern is, apart from the RAM requirement, what else do I need to look into before I spend for the upgrade. I've lost the navigation pane in WLPhoto Gallery and I can't "go up a folder" or reverse my steps in the folder hierarchy at all. The 1st, 2nd and 3rd time this happened I ultimately returned to normal by doing a system restore. The fourth time... no such luck. I'm stuck in a particular folder until I download more photos and then I'm stuck there. It's making me absolutely crazy. About a week ago whenever I go to different emails in my box, my mail will close and then reopen again. It just says an error has occurred and it starts back up.
