    Possibly because I always used AMD although I do have and Intel computer and Intel netbook.

    To often people run into issues after using sleep or hibination after they use this power setting.As in they cannot come out of sleep. I always set not to hibernate or sleep.

    I love Gigabyte I have never had any issues with this make of mainboard. However I could add ASUS to the list also.

    AVG as I have not had an infection using this software. I have used it for nearly three years. Although I am also a very carefull internet surfer.

    I agree with you Wolfeymole I was just looking into it myself just to check my post. It appears it will be something like Nero to be used. But ripping copyrighted music and movies is against the law. And then to place this on facebook would again break facebook rules.

    Hello and welcome. You can use Windows Media player to RIP the DVD as long as it is not copyright protected.Just pop in disk and use RIP tab. Or a simiilar program such as Nero. I am not sure about putting it on facebook maybe someone else can help there. Jelly Bean.

    Sounds like the RAID controller is enabled in BIOS and you have no drives attached to it. The screen you see is the RAID setup screen for configuring the RAID. Go into BIOS and disable .

    Just to input a little. I do miss XP to a point. But I run Vista Ultimate 64 bit and have not had any issues with it. Granted Vista does take a little more getting used to than XP and needs that extra setup proccess. I find my machine runs great Granted I do keep my computer updated and clean so maybe that could be part of the running smooth continualy. I would rather Vista now than XP. However I do not think I will be moving to Windows 7 any time soon.
