Hello robert,

Please give some more info about the complete network setup. Workstations,

routers and other servers. How do you connect to the internet?

Best regards

Re: Windows 2000 DNS local srver REMOVAL

Hello robert,

I think it will not be a problem to use the Linksys router as DNS server

and Default gateway. I use my DSL router at home for DHCP and it is also

the DNS "server". Just point with the preferred DNS ip to the router should

work. To really test it, disconnect the DNS server form the LAN and change

the ip to the Linksys and try to go to the internet. If it does not work

i would check the router configuration first and try again.

Best regards
