Guest GW Posted July 30, 2008 Posted July 30, 2008 Windows 2000 Server. I have a group policy and would like to add a .adm template to my User Configuration | Administrative templates. I can right click on administrative templates and choose Add/Remove Template. A menu appears with a list of templates and the options to click add or remove. The problem is the .adm I need to add is not available on the list and there is not an option to browse to find the .adm file. Which leads me to believe that there must be a step that needs to be taken prior to right clicking on administrative templates and adding the template. Where do I need to place my template so that it shows on the list to add when add/remove templates is selected?
Guest John John (MVP) Posted July 30, 2008 Posted July 30, 2008 Re: Group Policy Template Add/Remove Templates Just click on the "Add" button and you will be able to select the location of your custom template. By default the templates are in the C:\WINNT\INF folder. John GW wrote: > Windows 2000 Server.
