Guest Clueless in Seattle Posted August 5, 2007 Posted August 5, 2007 A while back I downloaded a file that was compressed with something called RAR. I ended up downloading and installing an RAR file utility called WinRAR and now my Windows 2000 menus are cluttered with RAR menu items. For example, now in Windows Explorer, when I right click on a file name, on the little menu that drops down, no less than *four* RAR items now appear: * Add to archive... * Add to "Archive.rar" * Compress and email... * Compress to "Archive.rar" and email.... I find this a bit annoying and would like to clean up the clutter on the menus. But I would prefer not to have to remove WinRAR altogether. How can I do this? Will in Seattle a.k.a. "Clueless"

Hit the integration tab & in the shell integration portion uncheck "Integrate WinRAR into shell."
