  1. Erm................ok :D
  2. LOL - why is that then Wolfey if its turned off?
  3. I wouldnt recommend this as a vacuum produces static
  4. You're more than welcome Mara :)
  5. The drivers that you listed sound more like MOBO drivers than GPU drivers. Tell us EXACTLY what drivers you have installed and where from please. Sounds like you are installing DELL onboard drivers (which is no good as you need the NVIDIA ones as you are using an add in card)
  6. No problem - glad you sorted it :)
  7. Lol - Wolfey and Technology (not a good mix) :D
  8. This one GeForce Release 181
  9. Are you getting the Graphics drivers from the NVIDIA site?
  10. Ok - on the ASUS Mobo disk, you can run the update in a windows environment - you dload the file off the ASUS site and run it though that. Its far easier, than messing around with floppys etc. I suspect that it didnt do the whole update, if I am honest
  11. Just right click on the shortcut and in one of the tabs there is an option to 'run as administrator'
  12. What process did you use to update the BIOS?
  13. Why would you want a password manager - you are FAR better buying a flash drive that has the ability to encrypt than store passwords on your PC
  14. When you select tracks to be burnt (on NERO anyway) if you select too much data size wise - it shows you how far over you are GREEN means its ok and will fit, YELLOW requires compression and RED will not fit. Most of the modern software apps support overburn as do most CD-RW drives. You may be overburning without knowing you are doing so. Hope this helps
  15. Agreed - you may be able to take the phone to a shop like o2 and see if they can read any info and swap it onto your SIM. There is normally an option within the advanced settings to where you want numbers to be stored either on the SIM on the phone or a combination - Do yourself a favour and ALWAYS choose to SIM - as most people keep the same SIM for a very long time, but change phones every year or so
  16. Cheers Doug, we do appreciate your kind words :)
  17. Sorry - I only just saw this thread. Did you run the water through the setup before you installed it in the PC? Double check all the connections ON EVERYTHING linked to the cooler
  18. The XBOX wireless adapter is very good though - mine travels through 2 ceilings and is still full signal Wireless draft N is the best in terms of range, it depends on how much you want to spend A wireless adapter for the xbox is like £50 you should then be able to compromise in terms of moving the router to a more central location
  19. Ok - well get back to us when they tell you whats best :D
  20. They just have preferred suppliers. Like XFX always used to be an NVIDIA partner - 'word on the street' lol always wanted to say that is that they are switching to making ATI cards  Sacrilage lol
  21. http://www.codebeach.com/images/splitreason/lemmings.gif I FOUND IT
  22. I just like Winding Matt up - :D Antec build quality is top notch
  23. Factory resets on a Router normally involve leaving it unplugged for 20-30 mins too. Just to let you know mbps is mega bytes per second - 50 mbps is the max you can get at the moment - with CABLE - thats what I have :D If you are getting 270 or 150 - im moving to your house :D
  24. In terms of optimization - depending on what you have on your PC and if you have more than one drive - Delete any unnecessay items in add/remove - then manually navigate to C:\ program files and if there are any old folders in there that you no longer use - say for example you used Roxio and then upgraded to Nero - if you uninstall Roxio from the add/remove there will still be some files lurking in the program files that belong to Roxio - remove them and any other obsolete files and then do the defrag. Defrags only really help if you have large files like games installed
  25. Also check that you are not 'overburning' the disk - some programs will try and compress the songs to fit more on and this results in 'overburning' the disk
