  4. Hi You will need a low-profile AGP card. But another problem is the power supply in that Dell is only 160W so you gonna struggle to find one that uses so little power. That is the problem with these types of PC's, is that they are hard to upgrade.
  5. Hi Someone else might have a better solution, but i think it is to do with the codec you used to convert the file. You must look at what codec the tv uses.
  6. Hi What form factor of Dell is this? Have a look here: http://support.dell.com/support/edocs/systems/opgx270/en/ug/index.htm
  7. Hi So you are trying to load Windows from the CD/DVD drive? Make sure the CD/DVD is set to boot first and press a key when it displays the prompt to boot from CD/DVD, then it should boot from the CD/DVD.
  8. Hi Looks like you tried everything else except CPU. Try with a different CPU to rule out that possiblity. But it does sound like either CPU or Motherboard.

  15. Try disconnecting the power cable from the back of the PSU plug it back in and see if it will turn on. Leave the graphics card out. What graphics card do you have, also what motherboard, CPU and RAM?
  16. Dont plug in any expansion cards yet, just have the monitor and keyboard connected to see if you can get into the BIOS.
  17. Hi Do you have the 4-pin connector from PSU for the CPU connected?
  18. Hi Why do you want a 2.5 when you can get a 3.5 1TB for cheaper. Synapse can correct me if i am wrong but isn't this better: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Seagate-ST1000DL002-Drive-Serial-ATA-5900RPM/dp/B004HYBL12/ref=sr_1_8?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1342811064&sr=1-8

  20. Hi Welcome to ExtremeTech.support - Free PC Help. First thing to try is make sure nothing has come loose transporting it. Make sure everything is secure in place. Next would be to try a different PSU, if you can borrow one to test.
  21. If it is fuzzy from the moment you put on the pc it could either be the graphics card itself that is faulty or the screen (which i doubt it is). Try another graphics card. We can unfortunately not help you with any software problems if your Windows is not Genuine.
  22. If you boot into safe mode, is it also fuzzy? When you looked inside the case, was there any dust on the graphics card fan?
  23. Hi Welcome to ExtremeTech.support - Free PC Help. Have you tried updating the graphics drivers? You can find it here : http://www.nvidia.co.uk/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-uk
  24. Hi Is this your PC: http://www.asus.com/Desktop/Entertainment/Essentio_CM5671/#specifications According to the specs it only has a 300w psu which will need to be upgraded and it has a PCIe slot so the card should fit. The card is 8.25 inches so just make sure you have enough space and the psu has a six-pin pcie connector.
  25. Hi That is not Malwarebytes. Use the link Ken supplied, reg cleaners are normally not very good.
