  3. Hi I am sure our malware expert can help you, but first it will be a good idea to get rid of limewire for good. Go to Add/Remove Programs and remove it from there. After that you will recieve further instructions on removing any malware it has caused.
  4. Hi Go here: Documentation and download the owners manual (html version is smaller size) Once you downloaded it extract the files and open the Parts file It shows how to add and remove all cards in your computer.
  5. Hi I would go with the Core 2, but check out the Core i3 or i5 their prices isn't that bad ;)
  6. Hi Welcome to ExtremeTech.support - Free PC Help :)
  7. That is strange ;) I hear Microsoft Security Essentials is very good, and can even be compared with NOD32 and Kaspersky, the only "big" difference is, it is Free ;)
  8. Hi Welcome to ExtremeTech.support - Free PC Help. Didn't i see you at G2G? :)
  9. Hello Welcome to ExtremeTech.support - Free PC Help
  10. Can you perhaps borrow a card to see if it solves the problem?
  11. Can you give us more detail like what error message you get what happens when you try to run it? The more detail we have the better ;)
  12. The thing is, you wont be able to play all games, escpecially the latest ones on very high quality settings. 1GB RAM is the minimum you should have for Vista, but i would reccommend 2GB RAM. I would reccomend upgrading the motherboard (if it doesn't have PCI-Express), CPU and RAM with a decent PCI-Express graphics card, that is if it is in your budget to make a decent gaming PC.
  13. Hi Have a look here: Solving Messenger install, reinstall and uninstall issues with ZapMessenger - Windows Live
  14. Hi What games are you planning on playing. What motherboard do you have? I won't get an PCI graphics card if the motherboard has AGP or PCI-Express. I think you have onboard graphics so that should just be disabled after installing the new one.
  15. Hi What are you using to connect to the internet? Do you have wireless?
  16. Hi Welcome to ExtremeTech.support - Free PC Help
  17. Hello and Welcome ;)
  18. Hi Welcome to ExtremeTech.support - Free PC Help
  19. Thanks for letting us know. Good to hear you have it sorted BTW when do we ever read the manual lol :D
  20. Try using a different graphics card or use the onboard graphics if you have it and see if that makes a difference.
  21. What version of IE are you using?
  22. Hi That motherboard uses an AGP slot for the graphics card. So you will need an AGP graphics card.
  23. Hi Just want some info to clear things up where things are now: 1. Does the monitor show the picture correct in the BIOS? 2. Can you boot into windows normally? 3. Can you boot into Safe mode?
  24. Hi I don't think a cooler would affect windows, so that should be fine. You said you tried removing the new RAM and still the same. Is that the only changes you made? Did windows download any updates just before you upgraded the PC? If all else fails i would try a repair install or system restore to a previous date.
  25. Hi Do you mean the motherboard only has two RAM slots? Look at this picture, this motherboard has 4 RAM slots http://i258.photobucket.com/albums/hh257/maynardvdm/mobo.jpg As far as i know RAM slots can't be added or removed.
