I changed the hard drive of my computer. The old one was 300MB and the new is 500MB. After importing all applications and data with the System Image. Everything is working fine except the C drive folder is telling me that it is a 300MB hard drive instead of 500MB. How can we change it? Please help me. View the thread

Has anybody gone through a Live@Edu migration to any one of the Office 365 educational plans? (Plan A2, Plan A3 or Plan A4) There are two actions that the Live@Edu admin needs to take to make this happen from the Live@Edu primary admin dashboard - "1. Migrate domain" and "2. Migrate users". The mystery is - how long should we expect each of these actions to complete? (I assume that the "Migrate domain" is equivilent to the new O365 environment being provisioned which I'd expect would not impact users / services nor would this take a long time?) It's the "migrate users" step we are concerned with... We have 500 users and 2TBs of email data...?? No documentation at all by MSFT online services regarding migration metrics in this scenario. Please anybody if you have info or experience with this specific scenario please share... Thank you View this thread

I'm setting up a new (old) HP Compaq. I noticed the computer clock wasn't keeping time - syncing it catches it up - but I have to keep doing that. I changed out the battery to one that was working in my other Compaq. That hasn't solved the problem. What do I do??? View the thread

All the files in my document folders changed from english to little square 0s'. hello,I have this issue.I have a samsung r540 laptop,a year ago i bought 2 it as a replacement to a standard dvd/cd rewriter a Pioneer TD03RS bluray rewriter,it worked for a couple of months,recorded and wrote some esperanza 25gb bluray disc's through Nero burning rom,but all of the sudden it stopped doing that,and now my Windows 7 32bit is detecting the writer as a CD/DVD WRITER and a BluRay reader.Triend everything, she has been to the service,returned and still nothing, don't know how to fix it View the thread

As Office 2013 has been released, I have started to prepare thing to do massive upgrade with GPO on all corporate computers. I have prepared batch script to run it when computers shut down and prepared the MSP file. But during testing, I noticed that Office 2013 successfully installs and applies the MSP, but on start menu still remains menu for MS Office 2010 which contains Microsoft SharePoint Workspace 2010. Hi, I am currently unable to install updates be it Windows Updates, Java updates, Skype updates or any other program updates. I believe this to be a Windows Installer problem and have tried every potential solution I could find online including making sure the service is started, registering the service via the cmd prompt and even updating the Registry. I do not know what else to try. I am running Vista SP2 32-bit. The error message always says that "another installation is in progress" when it isn't (or it is but it doesn't update successfully). An AVG Internet Security program - AVG PC Tune Up - corrupted/changed my Windows defragmenter program. Before downloading the free version of this Tune Up program I had always used Windows' disk clean up and defragmentor programs. When I now try to defragment my files I get the following message when I try to analize them "Disk defragmenter has detected that Chkdsk is scheduled to run on the volume: (c:). Please run Chkdsk/f" AVG offered 2 help options a) contact Microsoft b) restore computer to date before downloading Tune Up. Don't use my computer for anything other than shopping on internet, storing my photos, my banking, and the odd email but would not like to take it back almost a year. Any suggestions. I disinstalled the AVG PC Tune Up program months ago when trying to make my computer run faster. AVG have informed me that my security program purchased 18 months ago needs upgrading and that's why its making all my programs so slow. Hi friends Recently, my windows xp professional OS get corrupt, so I installed another one. But I accidentally installed it in the same partition as my corrupt windows os and when I tried to follow Microsoft help here http://support.microsoft.com/kb/888023 It said : "Cannot delete flash32_11_6_602_180.ocx : Access is denied Make sure the disk is not full or write protected and that the file is not currently on use" And the deletion action stopped. My harddrive is not full and not write protected. How to delete it????? Please help. I'm feared my computer to get crashed because of this. View this thread
