"use auto-complete list to suggest names when typing in the To,CC, and Bcc lines" I have imported the Outlook 2010 admx template but could not find where this setting is stored. had trouble for a long time couldn't send an e-mail or link from the internet because it was greyed out...some nice person there and I want to thank them told us what to do and it worked. But now when I send a link the person on the other side cannot open it directly when receiving, has to copy and past into a browser. How can I create system images from 2 seperate computers on common external usb disk. Background: I made a system image of Windows 7 Professional 64-bit (Start > All Programs > Maintenance > Backup and Restore > Create a system image) and placed it on an external hard drive (Samsung S2 Portable 3 USB Device). I I let Windows choose what to back up. I did this on the first PC.All went well. I then went to a second PC with my external usb hard drive and tried to follow the same procedure but I get an I/O error. I suspect that it's because Windows backup is trying to create another directory called "WindowsImagebackup" and the directory already exists from the first PC I backed up. So How do I store multiple system images from different laptop computers on the same usb external hard drive? Do I have to partition my external usb hard drive for each computer I want to create a system image for? View the thread

I slipstream SP1 with office 2010, but after installing office, SP1 does not install at the same time, and I end by installing it manually! I did the same thing with office 2007 in the past and I did not have any problem. The only difference is that with office 2007, the Updates folder was empty to begin with, but here in office 2010 this folder is not empty. Should I first make it empty and then add the extracted files of SP1? Can anybody help? I am using Windows 7 Home Premium just in case. View this thread

My HP 309g printer indicates that it is on line and gives OK printout with test details showing all good. It has been operating Ok for over a year. I haven't installed any new software recently. My computer says it is offline. Router is Ok for internet access. I'm using Windows 7. I must have missed some simple thing somewhere!!! How do I get the printer back on line? View the thread

I got a phone call from a representative of this company saying that they were contracted by windows to do support and my computer was at risk. He said he had my license key to my computer from windows and wanted remote access to clean up the threats on my machine. I refused to provide access, but would like to know what the status of this comnpany is. Do they do work for microsoft? Are they legitimate? He asked questions about how the computer was used and what my antivirus program was. He gave me an address in Albany New York and a phone number to call back on, but I won't deal with someone calling me out of the blue without more information. Thanks View this thread

I am trying to delete a "Live OneCare Backup" from my external hard drive. The file was created by a PC using XP Media Center 2005, SP2, or possibly SP3. I am accessing that external hard drive using my laptop with Win 7 Pro (64 bit). Everytime I try removing the file, an "Access Denied" error appears. Alternatively, I get a message that says "You need Administrator Priveleges, etc." I have tried: 1) changing the file permissions. I get no error message, but the file still won't delete. 2) I have tried the instructions in MS Article ID: 943904 "How to delete a Windows Live OneCare Backup file," and that didn't work. My computer used to be configured for RAID 1. Since this was constant resynching, I removed the RAID feature and used the second drive as a backup drive instead (a backup is actually more suited to my needs). The problem is, when I start up my machine, the bootloader still gives me the option for "Windows 7 - Secondary Plex", even though there isn't one. I want to do a clean install of Windows XP on what appears to be a homebuilt computer. The computer came with a product key, but no Windows XP disc. Is there a way for me to make a Windows XP disc from the files on the computer, or put it back to its original state some other way without saving the previous owner's stuff? My TomTom navigation program opens full screen on my desktop everytime I turn my computer on. How do O prevent this from happening/?. I removed the icon from my start up screen. That doesn't do it. I have a new (two weeks old) Acer M3450 With a quad core AMD 4100 @ 3.6 ghz and 6 gig of ram. When I insert my USB sticks in it says I can speed up my system by using 6144 mb. If I update my system to 16 gig of ddr3 ram instead of the 6 gig that is installed does this mean that my system will speed up accordingly? View the thread
