Judy as the others already said a lot of what you need is a matter of user choice. It depends on what you do with your computer, who uses it etc. The following is just my opinion.
Outpost is a good firewall. I've tested it. Easy to configure but it's been a while.
No Script is a firefox add-on. It adds a layer of security while browsing. It blocks javascript, java and flash applications from running unless you allow them to run. Youtube for instance. Personally I don't use it but it's just a choice issue. If you visit unsafe sites frequently it's good to have. :)
ERUNT creates registry backups in case it becomes corrupted. Again it's a matter of choice but I just depend on System Restore for registry backup.
WOT is a lot like Mcafee Site Advisor which I use. It warns you if you go to an unsafe site and let's you know if sites are safe in search engines like Google. Not a bad thing at all to have.
Malwarebites free and Superantispyware free are good tools to periodically scan your computer for malware and remove it.
Spywareblaster doesn't scan. It actually blocks in real time certain types of malware. It uses no resources and you will never even know that it's working. Just remember to manually update it once in a while. I do it once a month. As far as I'm concerned it's a must have tool.
My opinions;
Outpost-yes.
Spywareblaster-yes.
WOT or Mcafee Site advisor-yes
No script-Yes if you visit dodgy sites. No if you don't like the hassle.
ERUNT-No in most cases but it can't hurt.
The Flash components won't show the size just as you noted. If you did the version test and it worked all is well.
You can also check it here. Adobe - Flash Player
I don't seem to see if you have actually ran a memory diagnostic yet. You can do that quite easily in Vista.
Control Panel (Classic View)>Administrative Tools>Administrative Tools>Memory Diagnostics Tool.
If you think it might have something to do with uninstalling Nero 5 try the Nero General CleanTool. After downloading it right click it and click Extract All to unzip the folder.
Goku I think what you are looking for is also available as a download.

I think it's "flashplayer 10r45_2_win.exe application 1,848 kb no" that you want.
After installing it go to Version Test for Adobe Flash Player
If it installed that page should say Your Player Version: WIN 10,0,45,2
Did your computer come with XP Home? Is there a reason you recently installed XP Pro.
Are you sure you have the right driver? ATI doesn't list the mobility radeon 9200 and Sony doesn't have it.
Do you have your original Sony disks? What disks did you use to install XP Pro?
At this post you said "I tried to remember why I even had it and then I remembered that it seems as though some usb ports on the tower don't actually work, being lazy I thought I could get around that by using the hub".
You might need a new USB card which are cheap. Just a guess.
Judy do you have a HP computer? I know HP bundles Cyberlink on some models.
If you do have HP then a reinstall of the software Cyberlink or Power2go would be worth a try.

It's probably your outdated graphics. A lot of games especially 3D games need better graphics. Yours at 32mb dedicated to it is weak to the extreme. Also a lot of old ones can't handle 3D hardware acceleration properly.
Goku knows his way around Flash Player issues. A great link Goku. It's too bad Adobe doesn't make it easier to find these links. It's always difficult.
The link sums up a lot of the issues all in one place. You do have to be precise in following the instructions of course.
Thanks Goku.
Flash Player Version Test
I can't test yoville as they want my email address but it might just be on their end or facebooks end. Facebook has had slowdowns in the past.
If the problem persists you could uninstall and reinstall Flash Player. Posts 2 and 3.
Try deleting Temp files too.
I would be more concerned with Partypoker if I were you. Six months ago a relative installed it on mine without my knowledge. I caught it within 24 hours.
It took me hours to scan and remove trojans after the uninstall. And the uninstall was not clean. Afterwards I had to delete files, folders and shortcuts from 3 different user profiles. One I had to do from safemode. Then I had to dig into the registry to get rid of the rest including some context menu entries.
He has since put it on his computer and says the scans are clean but under the circumstances I'm never going to trust it.
Yes it might be IE. Especially if some of the settings were changed as explained in the link above. JavaScript / Flash Player error : Common Error Messages - YouTube Help

I'm assuming you downloaded and reinstalled flash with the stand alone installer I linked you to.
There is an update for Java but that is not part of the current problem. But you might as well go ahead and update it now. Yes you need Java and Flash for youtube.
Starbuck do you think it would help if Judy installed the latest version of the kiwee toolbar in order to uninstall it properly? As I said when I tested it it uninstalled fairly clean and my messenger works.
I ask because I see a lot of kiwee entries in the logs. I also see myweb, party poker and limewire exe.
Just asking.
