    Make sure that you uninstall the old drivers and then manually navigate to the ATI folder in C:/program files/catalyst and delete all in there too when you download the latest driver - get the DRIVER only and not the CCC (Catalyst Control Centre)

    No onboard graphics are good enough to run games like Crysis or COD4. Check and see how much RAM you have in system. You may need to drop the resolution as low as it goes and see if that improves.

    Alexa was a also a very bad virus about 5-6 years ago (people packed it on the back of OS's that were obtained by torrent) - hope its not related :eek:

    Be very careful if it says 'supports quad core' as it will need a BIOS update and unless you have another LGA775 chip lying around - you cant do the update :eek:

    Hmm - AGP 2x and 4x is VERY old I had a look on some sites - but none of them stock anything before AGP 8x

    I had a quick look at the PC - but I couldnt find any information on the MOBO - Motherboard - can you tell me if it has an AGP 4x or 8x or maybe even a PCI-E slot for a graphics card - it should show a layout of the Motherboard and tell you what the slot is in the manual

    Unless you plan on getting some crazy overclock (which you wont with that board) watercooling is unnecessary. IF you had a QUAD on the other hand then yes the watercooling is needed to get the CPU to 4Ghz per core :D

    All I use now for CPU cooling are the Arctic Freezer 7 versions for 'budget' they are still FAR better than a stock and if you have a bit more of a budget the Thermalright ones are the BEST available.

    In the control panel there is a setting called SYSTEM click that and it will display it bottom right aswell as the processor speed and processor type.

    Also check in the msconfig (from a command window) and then the start up items.

    Not really no - I was looking for the status of the drive - but if you cant get that far then.......... Ok - Is the drive external? if its internal have you tried moving the drive to another SATA slot on the MOBO? Also check that the power and the SATA cable are secure at the drive end and the SATA cable at the MOBO end too - if you are using a SATAII drive - you should really be using 'latch' cables as they lock into place - but the cables supplied in the MOBO box will be standard and they slip on the connectors.

    Its not necessarily the graphics - streaming uses lots of RAM and Internet speed is also a big factor - How much RAM do you have installed and whats in the PC at the moment CPU RAM GPU

    How old is the PC? Chances are if its about 5 years or older it will use an IDE (ribbon) type cable for the HDD, you can slave the old HDD (Hard drive) to the newer PC and try and pull the images off that you want. Is the drive that contains the pictures the drive with the operating system on, or is it another that you use for storage?

    I dont understand which ones cant you do - they are self explanatory Black are GND (Ground) With the picture that you supplied and the wire descriptions you supplied you just need to match them up

    Aragon - Most RAM chips have a gap in the middle that is slightly offset to avoid that issue. Kingruss - Have a look at the RAMs manufacturers website and it will give you the manual timings and also if you need to increase the voltage (DFI boards can take it :D)

    Right I would turn that Cacheman off - as it may be messing around with what the game runs to check the requirements. If you have installed the latest drivers etc - then all you can do is uninstall the game and try again - are you launching the game from the disk or the shortcut where the program files are?
