  1. Hello Chris. P2P programs like BitCommet are more often than not used to share illegal programs and copyrighted files. Besides, they pose a much greater security risk since you are virtually letting someone to access files from your hard drive by making exceptions in your firewall. The warning in the Event Viewer is network related and so is the problem you experience. I think this should be enough evidence that the program is doing more harm than good. Please uninstall it immediately as we cannot continue further while its still on. Thank you for your co-operation. :) -- Goku
  2. Lol, you talk like Wolfey and Randy. The only difference is they prefer BEER. :D -- Goku
  3. Hello and Welcome to FPCH Sartra. I have changed the spelling of the thread to change the "degrading word". Hope we will be able to help you out. :) -- Goku
  4. Hello Chris. I think you nailed the problem yourself. Please uninstall the program and get back to us. This might explain the TCP / IP warning too. :) -- Goku
  5. I would go the same way as Tootech. As said, there are both advantages and disadvantages of using an Internet Security Suite. The advantages are that you don't need to look out at various programs for performing specific functions and a single application keeps you safe. However, this very thing can be a disadvantage too as once disabled, all your protection is disabled and you become more vulnerable than ever. Just choose what you find the best to your needs and all should be fine. :) -- Goku
  6. Happy Birthday Marion. :) Hope this one turns out to be the best one yet. -- Goku

  15. OK, I think we may still have some undesirable programs. Please download and install CCleaner from here. Open the program and switch to the Startup tab and please note down all the entries present. List these entries in your next reply and I will advise you further. Oh, and you can freely use CCleaner for your maintenance operations. It is a very good utility. Just make sure you stay away from its Registry section as it is a bit dangerous. 20. OK, that appears to be an important driver. If you are affected by its uninstall, you must have a Logitech keyboard too. To resolve the problem, simply download the latest version of Logitech SetPoint from here. Install it and reboot. Installation should require mostly the functioning of the mouse so let us know if you get stuck somewhere. Hope that helps. :) -- Goku
  21. And please do not start duplicate threads Charlotte as doing so will only increase the delay in response times. Hope you understand. Thank you for your co-operation. -- Goku
