I just bought a new computer and was looking for some DVD creation software. I have used Intervideo's software before and, ehhh, it's ok. Nothing terrible, nothing great (although they're offerings of Menus for the DVD is pretty crappy). Typically, I will take TV recorded in the Windows Media Center and make DVDs for my friends. I use the editor to edit out commercials from time to time, and find Intervideo a little tedious. Periodically, I have used AnyDVD to make fair-use copies of my own DVDs. YES, really, I do... I don't give them away or anything. Does anyone have suggestions on DVD creation software? Is the DVD maker on Windows Vista any good? Assume a*database with up to 1 million books listed. As a user is searching they have the ability to say "never show me this book again" or "never show me any books by this author again". So a user may have selected 1000 books as "never show me this book again". When they search I want to filter out those results. I can think of the simple way to do it, but it doesn't seem like it would be an efficient way to do it. I'm looking for a new camera. Features I like are A) View Finder B) Li-Ion Battery C) Good Zoom And good picture quality of course. Are the Digital SLR cameras really worth the huge price increase over a 'normal' digital camera? I was looking at the Kodak Z712*, I'm not a great photographer, but I like to be able to take good quality pictures. I have an ASP.NET application that uses the Ajax Control Toolkit.* Today I opened the project in Visual Studio 2008 and was prompted to upgrade the project to .NET 3.5.* What made me click "Yes', I'll never know; but I sure got bit for it. Now I'm getting build errors: Unknown server tag: ajaxToolkit:Accordion; same for AccordionPane. I tried: *- Replacing my copy of AjaxControlToolkit.dll with the 3.5 version *- Reverting the project to 2.0 *- Replaced the DLL with the 2.0 version again *- Updated reference to the DLL *- Verified the server (and the client debugging it) have System.Web.Extensions 2.0.0.0 and 3.5.0.0 registered in the GAC I don't wanna have to create a new project and copy all the files over; what's the best way to undo this FUBAR?
