  7. Actually, not so bizarre really. But I was looking at a job advert the other day for a technical writer position. And it kind of appealed. Given that I'm obsessed with reading and learning about stuff, but have difficulty dealing with the horrible grind of making code production-quality. (I'm more a prototype guy :D) Anyone here do that job? Can you tell me what the day-to-day actual life of a technical writer actually is like (actually). It seems an odd role for someone who was diagnosed dyslexic at school, but I've*become a*pedant*since then. (I think I developed pedantry during puberty, I'm not sure when I developed verbosity though...) More... View All Our Microsoft Related Feeds

I want to be able to double-click a node in the ListView to open it's property sheet. The ScopeNode belongs to a namespace extension snap-in. I know you can use MMCN_DBLCLICK in MMC 2.0 but how should it be done in MMC 3.0? Please help! More... View All Our Microsoft Related Feeds

Todd Bishop has an article about the Vista Capable class action suit with a link to the full text of emails related to the case, released by the judge: http://blog.seattlepi.nwsource.com/microsoft/library/vistaexhibitsone.pdf Some of the highlights so far are the Sinofsky email quoted in the article, Dell's Vista RTM post mortem, and the chart of Vista crash causes for 2007 on page 47 (NVidia is #1 at around 480000) Interesting reading for those that followed the whole Vista release saga. 25. I remember watching a TV episode (way way back in the days, say about 8 years ago or less). Basically, it is a mouse (well 2 mice to be "exact") and keyboard integrated. You put your hand into two mice, and you could move your Mouse Pointer with EITHER hand. At the same time, you could type while moving your mouse pointer with both your hands. I want to buy that if possible if they still make/sell it. It'd be amazing (maybe?) to play games, do programming etc without having to switch from keyboard to mouse and etc. Does anyone remember that (or) do they still sell it somewhere? More...
