Hm... I use SSIS packages to manipulate some data from one SQL server to another. I chosed "DontSaveSensitiveData" and I am using a XML configuration file. The problem is I have to edit the file with notepad manually and add the password for my SQLconnections in it. Is it possible to do this from the Business Intelligence Studio instead? I tried to edit the connections and set and save password there but it won't save it to the XML configuration file. Or perhaps it is intended to be edited in notepad and passwords set manually to it? OK, So I finally got round to downloadig VS2008 and installing it on my laptop. The problem is, the ISO file I copied from my main machine was corrupt, so setup failed about 1/3 of the way through.* I copied a fresh copy over and set it away again, it* gave me the update / remove options, so I chose update and completed the install. Hi A service on my Windows Vista (SP1 RC) is regularly running mad. If it is using 50% of the Dual-Core-CPU and never stops. If it is doing this,*I can't open the windows-taskmanager and some other applications.*Somehow*it is locked up.*Even the UAC has problems to show up, if I launch the Sysinternals Process Explorer as admin-user. With the Process Explorer I can see that on Thread of the "wevsvc.dll" seems to do somehow a busy-wait on "ntkrnlpa.exe!KeWaitForMultipleObjects" =(. Now I've no idea what I should do.
