if you remove the card, the onboard audio should kick in after a restart IF your mobo does have onboard audio.
-
Why do that when you can just leave it plugged in? So much simpler
-
Is it built in Audio or a seperate sound card? If it is seperate, you will need the drivers from the makers website, such as Creative.
-
My view is the same as Scotts, I would leave the plug in as it earth's it as I am slightly paranoid about static damaging my system as I've spent so much on it :P But I don't see a problem with taking it out either. One question I will ask though, How often should you clean your PC? I know it depends on the environment it's in but should it be when you cant see anything inside it anymore? :P Or reguarly, such as every month etc? Not trying to hijack, just asking for my own personal knowledge :)

Dalo is right, If you take it to whichever service provider you are with, eg O2, Orange etc, or a Sony Ericsson branch, they should be able to copy the information you want for you off the phone.

There must be a way but I'm afraid my knowledge stops here as I haven't ever used a form on Access, just the database aspect of it I'm afraid :( Hopefully someone with more knowledge can help and take over from here.

connection to your server has failed
DirtyPolo replied to rainy242's topic in Tech Support & Discussions Forum
Hello rainy, It appears that you are getting this error message as AVG is trying to update it's anti virus definitions. either a firewall is blocking it, your connection isn't up when it tried to update or it is for some other reason, If your internet works fine normally, as in your browser, viewing webpages then it is the programs problem. You can either uninstall AVG and reinstall it, or choose another anti virus program from our list of Extreme Tech Support - Free PC Help Recommended Security products [You can also update it manually, but a reinstallation should fix the problem aswell] -
Right, I'm off to order that t shirt... :D

Oh, I do not completly understand what you mean, but to explain how to use a query in Access 2007, as I have it infront of me now. - Open your database in Access - Click on "Create" at the top. - Click on "Query Design" in the "Other" section along the top - In the box that appears, select which table you want to search in - Click "Add" then "Close" - At the bottom click on the drop down box beside "Field" and select which to display. (i.e. if you wanted to see all the information for a certain ID, you would put in all of the fields) - Select what table they are in, with the drop down box by "Table", below "Field". - Where you've selected the ID as the field, click on the box that says "Criteria" - Enter the ID that you wish to search for. - Click the big red ! that says "Run" in the top left. It seems a long winded way... another shorter way that I found is, - When you are viewing your database in the "datasheet" view, click on "Find" on the top right - In the "Find What" box, put in the ID you wish to find - Where it says "Look In" select where you want it to look, it will normally give you 2 choices, a single field or the whole table, if you are currently selected on the "ID" column on your database then it will show the "ID" as the single field option. - Click "Find Next" Hope this helps :)

Hello david, If it is the Google Toolbar that you are talking about, then these steps should stop that problem: - Left click on the Google logo, on the left side of the toolbar, - Then select "Toolbar Options". - On the options page, uncheck the box for "Keep a search history in a drop-down list under the search box". If you are on about the google page itself, then that is your browsers Auto-Complete option. If you are using MS Internet Explorer, follow these steps: Click on the Tools menu Click on Internet Options Click on the Content tab In the Personal information section, click on the AutoComplete button Click on the Clear Forms button, and answer Yes to the resulting confirmation This will delete all of your auto complete items, not just in Google If you are using FireFox, these steps should work to delete the AuoComplete items: • Select "Tools" • Select "Options". • Select "Privacy". • In Private area click "Clear Now". • In "Clear Private Data" window put the check mark for "Saved form and Search History" and click "Clear Private Data Now". • Click OK. Alternatively, if you wish to disable it completly so you do not have to keep deleting it, then for IE: Select "Tools" • Select "Internet Options". • Open the "Content" tab. • Under AutoComplete, click "Settings" button. • In "AutoComplete Settings" window select what information your browser will remember - remove check marks from AutoComplete options you don't need (Web Address, Foms, User names and passwords on forms). • Click OK. And for FireFox: Select "Tools" then "Internet Options". • Select the "Privacy" tab. • Open "Save form information" category. • Remove the check mark from the "Save information I enter in web page forms and the Search Bar". • Click OK. Hope this helps! :D

Hello chris, For just basic querying [searching] try this link, as I don't have Access 2007 and would be able to explain in 2005 terms, but I'm not sure if they are the same :P Create queries for a new Access 2007 database you should also check out this link, as it is the whole list of Microsoft's Official Tutorials for Access 2007 Access 2007 - Training - Microsoft Office Online Hope this helps! Apologies for not being able to answer your question directly.

DirtyPolo replied to detotoky's topic in Tech Support & Discussions Forum
Hey detotoky do you have any USB devices attached? If so, please disconnect them and try a task that normally ends up in a freeze and let us know what happens. -
Okay, glad to hear it's sorted :) I just gave that point as it has been the cause of many problems around, not neccessarily yours, and well, obviously not yours as it's now done! :)
