Hi, I have scouted various knowledgebases including here and can't seem to find direct answers to my questions.... We have a client with a number of PC's having various OS/Office install combinations. The plan is to deploy Office 365 Home Premium and bring all/most to a common Office platform. The PC's include: 1. Win8 Pro/Office 2013 Pro Plus Trial 2. Win7 HP /Office 2010 Starter 3. Win7 HP/Office 2010 Pro 4. Win Vista SP2/Office 2007 Pro I'm uncertain how to deal with 2 things: 1. Can I just do a direct upgrade/insert key to activate 2013 with 365 HP license (as they are essentially the same) 4. I have Windows 7 x64, and am trying to install Office 2013 ProPlus (Home Use Program, 32-bit) from the downloaded installer file. Before installing, I ran the Office 2010 and 2013 uninstaller Fix-its, and performed a clean boot. During install, I get a "We couldn't install Office" dialog. It comes up again after clicking Retry, but not after clicking "Cancel Installation." In both cases the CTR status percentage keeps progressing until it hangs at 84%. When I open any Office 2013 application at this point, it starts but usage is blocked by a "Getting Office ready for you, this should only take a few moments" window with a green activity bar. Although the activity bar keeps moving, it never closes, even after I left the PC on overnight. I tried all solutions found in the listed Related Topics, none of them worked for me. View this thread

I am really picky on my laptop and it being clean makes me feel safe and my pc actually works pretty fast. I am a gamer and i uninstall lots of games and softwares everyday, but when i take a look in the registry, i see files with my uninstalled games still there. If the name of the farm is different from the name of the individual office web apps server machine is there any way to deploy office web apps server with a single domain SSL certificate? My office web apps server is working, but reporting itself unhealthy, apparently due to the fact that the SSL cert is for the name of the farm and that is different from the name of the machine. Errors are 2004, 1004, 2156, 1156, "could not establish trust relationship for the SSL/TLS secure channel" Going to the farm's discovery URL in the browser works fine, but going to the machine name (plus /hosting/discovery) gives an SSL error because the name of the farm is not the same as the name of the machine. Is there any way to make it use the farm's URL instead of the machine's URL in its own internal watchdog operations? Or any way to make it use a self signed certificate on the machine's URL for it's own health checks and still use the legitimate purchased SSL cert for user access?
