Haggle is good as your already with 3G you may get a good deal. Your very welcome,if you need any other help on a diffrent subject myself and the guys will be very pleased to help you. JB.
-
Other peoples issues are other peoples learning curves.
-
Your very welcome Ace,please pop back any time.
-
If you start to have issues other than the sound then yes return ASAP. It looks like there may of been two seprate partitions created on one hard drive and some one tried to resize C drive and get rid of the second partition but did not know how to get rid of that S 1.4 gig completely. It is PC World I am always ongaurd of what they do.
-
It certainly should not be using up that amount of disk space so soon. Ok as it is new and I do not advise turning of system restore then turning it back on. But what I posted earlier on disk cleanup when you get to the list of check boxes choose the second tab "More Options" then choose Sytem restore and shadow copies and press the cleanup button located under that heading then choose delete then choose ok. See if that frees up some space on your hard drive. I realy do not see what the S partition is for at all anyone noticed the size? Ace are you sure this is a brand new machine? I know some returned goods to PC World are just packaged back up and resold at the origonal price.Maybe you were sold a repackaged returned machine?
-
Wolfey are you refering to EISA Config? If yes that is the hidden recovery partition. ;) Ace click start/all programms/accessories/system tools and choose disk cleanup/Files from all users on this computer/choose C drive let it scan then check all boxes in the new popup window.Another popup box will appear click on delete. Does that free up some space on your hard drive?

Adam on a quick note: SD cards are usaly formatted to fat 32 not NTFS. I would check your camera manual and check what the SD card should be formatted to. If it is formatted to wrong format then that could be the cause of the camera asking for the SD card to be formatted.
-
Adam it is so worth a shot. Try the SD card in a family or friends slot first and see if it can recover any pictures.
-
This is the thing Adam to be honest I am not sure what could of caused this corruption. It could be the SD card. It could be the SD slot. It could be the printer software is corrupt or not functioning correctly. Hence testing another SD card in the printer slot may rule in or out an issue, reinstall of the printer software may help.Or put the SD card in some one elses SD card reader slot and format then see if the camera asks for the card to be formatted. I think a little testing may rule in or out what caused this problem. Even the camera it self could of been the cause of this issue and nothing to do with the printer or the SD card. Sorry it doesnt seem much help from me here and no solid answers but if you can try some or all of what I posted we may sort your issue for you and see what caused this.

Hello Adam, thought I would pop a comment on your thread. You popped the SD card into the camera and it asked to be formatted. You did not format it and now your trying to recover pictuers. I think what ever is on that SD card is completly corrupted and unrecoverble. You should of formatted the SD card as asked to before taking pictuers with your camera. It is possibly your printer SD card slot has caused issues or damage to the SD card.Or the slot is damaged and the SD card is ok and got buggy after being in the slot. Or a reinstall of the printer software may help for the future removal of pictuers from the SD card. I think the pictuers are unrecoverable and I would format the SD card then put it into the camera does it request you to format it? Do you have another SD card you could test in that slot?

Hello again. Oh I was not trying to say not to go with the offer, just thought a few ideas on what you could possibly go for.Its always good to have choices. As I said I was not trying to put you off. I to had a older laptop and boy carrying that everywere with my Bodyglove full of disks, mini tool kit etc was heavy and cumbersom. I then bought a netbook and sold my old beloved laptop. What a diffrence in weight, much easier and lighter to carry. A netbook is very convienient. I would advise you though to buy a good quality netbook bag.I bought a Tech Air one.It is brilliant, plenty of pockets and I did drop it once when my netbook was inside it.It protected my new machine brilliantly. Many netbooks when external pressure is applied to the lid will show as pressure marks on the screen. They are not as robust as a laptop this is why I also advise a good quality protective bag.

Hello flame. Enter the information of your computer using the choices box: Dell - Drivers and Downloads You can simply choose Select Model box and then input the information. You can download network drivers and updated drivers from the list after you choose which operating system is yours. Ok so there is seven in the network list and this can be confusing. So unless you know exactly which is pertaining to your computer you can download and save them all. Then use device manager and right click choose update driver, you have a choice to search online or manualy, you can do it manualy by browsing to the folder you downloaded the drivers to. This then should ensure the correct driver is installed.

Excellent there Ace. :) Hey your not wasting our time,we are here to help people like you Ace. Lads? What about the lasses?:)

Hello Ace the first thing to check is in sound properties that nothing has been muted or turned dowm. In device manager right click on the sound card and check it has not been disabled. You can try an update of the hardware driver via download from the manufacturers website.Or right click on it in device manager and choose update driver. In device manager you can try an uninstall the sound card not the driver reboot the machine and let new hardware wizard reinstall it.

I checked the netbook packages on 3G and I see the listed netbooks are from there. The Acer is FROM £17-50 per month but did you note the data is only 1 gig? That is not a lot of usage. If you want more data usage or more hours online you would have to go for a higher priced package. The Compaq mini is FROM £30-00 per month with 5 gig data transfer. Here are prices just for the USB dongle purchased on its own: 3 Store - Mobile Broadband It shows trariffs for Pay as you Go,1 month contracts and Pay Monthly. Note on pay monthly 15 GB of data which would give you a fair bit of hourly usage is £15-00.Ok that doesnt include a netbook or laptop.Aagin your hours would be reduced if you download items. Ok to purchase a netbook or laptop seprate means you would have to have the funds to do so,however there are always choices on how to buy such as Argos card which gives you a certain amount of months to pay for an item and if payed for within a certain time limit no intrest is added. There is also a catalogue which you or a family member may run, they are a little over priced but you appear to of still be saving money. I did do a search and found this: Free Laptop deals - Contract Mobile Broadband - Tesco Telecoms You can actualy build your own deal and compare prices, you will note the network choices are Orange and 3G. I am not trying to put you off paying for this sort of deal just trying to give you more options so you can hopefully get a cheaper better deal. Have you tried BT dongle with 1 GB data?If you have BT wireless broadband you maybe able to get this dongle for free. The 1 GB dongle will be yours for the duration of your contract with BT wireless.Phone BT and see if they can do you a deal. This would then mean only having to purchase a netbook or laptop with no monthly contact to get online. Netbooks and laptops if they have a wireless card or WIFI card can connect to most free WIFI hot spots. They can also connect free to works wireless networks and other peoples home networks. I hope this has helped? JB. Note: A majority of netbooks come supplied with the Intel Atom 1.6 ghz CPU with Hyper Threading. If people can hold out a little while Intel plans to upgrade the Atom from 1.6 GHZ to 2.0 GHZ with Hyper Threading.

Hello and welcome. Can you Download Malwarebytes and install, make sure you check the update box and update it and run it please. If you cannot access the internet via the infected PC then download and save on another computer and transfer using a CD/DVD disk, external hard drive or a USB pen drive to the infected computer. Or try restarting the infected computer and repeatedly tap F8 and choose safe mode with networking and then see if it can download MWB and access the internet. JB. -
Hello there. I certainly would not choose the Acer so if that was the only two choices included in the diffrent contracts I would be with Wolfey on this one and choose Compaq. However is there diffrent branded netbooks or laptops included in diffrent packages? If you post more information maybe we can look at the best deal with the best prices and netbook for you? Who were you thinking of going with?3G? To be honest most of them deals (netbook+dongle) from 3G and Talk Talk etc are well over priced I looked into these some time ago. I would much rather as I did save the money and buy a netbook of my choice.Lots of netbooks if you buy the correct one connect to the internet free of charge via WIFI.No need to have a USB dongle and a contract. To sum up the usage of the USB dongle you do not get that many hours of surfing time and downloading also reduces your hours online. If you go over the usage limit you maybe charged the extra usage via your bank. I know a friend who went over the usage limit and was charged £5-00 per day which was duely removed from her bank account. So I would look into the small print before purchase. My best advice is to save and buy a netbook of your choice. Then only purchase the USB dongle as an extra and look into the best option,3G is pritty good on prices and hours at the moment. This would work out much much cheaper in the long run for you. Most contracts are 12 months or 18 months or 24 months if you add up what you would be paying over the contract period and the actual prices of netbooks on offer you will see you realy are being over charged. But it is your choice and which way you wish to go. If you wish further advice please feel free to ask as I am sure we can find you a better deal. JB.

cyberlink youcam 2 and screen resolution

Yes it could be the disk or you aint copying the full file that holds the software. Often a file includes not just an installer but also other items such as a driver. If you locate the folder that contains the software and copy that whole foilder to USB pen drive then use the installer. What is the full error you are getting? This maybe a corrupt operating system and you may need to get an external CD rom drive and reinstall it. Are you installing from disk on other computers then attempting USB install on the netbook as this diffrence could mean your USB pen drive has issues. -
Hello and welcome to the forum. Use this compatability link: Foxconn Support - Compatibility List Input socket 775 from first drop down box. Then input or choose 945GZ7MC. Then in last box choose VGA it will then give you a compatability list of grqaphics cards. See if that helps. JB.

Possibilities: Low-level hardware corruption, such as corrupt memory (RAM) Mismatched memory modules A malfunctioning motherboard You can try to update drivers from the computer or mainboards manufaturers website. Are you running: Symantec AntiVirus Corporate Edition 8.0 and NSI Software's Double-Take. I sugest you run this as per instructions: Memetest86 EDIT: Power off computer. Remove all RAM sticks, place one stick in slot nearest CPU/Processor. Reboot see what happens. Remove that stick and place in another, reboot see what happens do this for each stick individualy. -
Ace balanced is more appropriate unless you intend to play higher spec games. On balanced it will run smooth and fast. Use the higher settings for game play while on charge. I use balanced for when I am out and about and connect to other wireless networks. In control panel classic view see the battery icon you can click on it and check box to add the icon to the task bar to monitor battery usage and levels.
