You can either click start/right click on my computer and choose properties/hardware tab/device manager and right click and choose update driver for the realtek.. Or you can download a driver and run it from here: Realtek Other factors around the home maybe interfering with the wireless signal.Such as cordless phones,mobile phones etc. Also check your firewall settings allow list.

No your files will be intact. The way to do this only is to use the reinstall disk if you have one. If you use recovery console then all will be lost. You use the install disk and do NOT delete the partition just go ahead and install. Then once up and running open C drive and you will see located "windows.old" this contains all your files.

Your most welcome Bri. Lets try firstly make sure your monitor cables are fully connected or try a diffrent cable. If your graphics is a PCI card then please make sure it is fully seated in its slot. Your error points possibly to a driver issue. I would update your hardware drivers from the computers manufacturers website,you can do this while in safe mode. The graphics card can be updated from its manufacturers wbsite. Example: ATI Graphics Drivers & Software NVIDIA Drivers - Download NVIDIA Drivers

On Wolfeys link use the drop down boxes. Choose D400V/D410V/D470V/D480V in the first drop down box. Then in second choose ALL. You will see the driver listed for the cam. Are there any yellow symbols in device manager? Also it appears you need to unzip the file before running and installing.

In the Vista machine could you do the following: Click start/all programs/accessories/now right click on command prompt and choose run as admin/Now copy and paste in ipconfig /all and hit enter on your keyboard. That is ipconfig "space" /all Could you copy and paste the whole report from the command window back here into your thread. It maybe you have to manualy asign a IP adress I am not sure yet. You could also try these commands and see if they help: ipconfig /flushdns ipconfig /release ipconfig /renew ipconfig /registerdns Remember there is a space between ipconfig and the / and hit enter on your keyboard after every command. The handset brings together the Walkman and Cyber-shot brands to create "the best of both our products", the company says. The full 640 x 350 3.5-inch touchscreen device features a 12.1 megapixel camera, dual-band HSPA, microSD expansion, and a xenon flash. It will be available in three colours - black, silver, and 'bordeaux' red - from October. The world's fourth-largest mobile phone maker posted a £293m loss in the first quarter of the year as demand for its handsets plummeted. Sony Ericsson hopes that the new Satio phone will help reverse its fortunes. Worldwide mobile phone sales fell by 8.6% in the first three months of this year with "mid-market" phones, traditionally ones sold by Sony Ericsson, suffering the biggest drop in sales. By contrast demand for so-called smartphones such as the iPhone and Nokia 5800 has been growing. Sony Ericsson also launched two other phones - the Aino and Yari - which it says will "revolutionise" gaming and audio experience. Microsoft announced it will roll out Windows 7, which will take the place of the unpopular Windows Vista, from October 22. The launch is months ahead of schedule and the operating system will be ready for Christmas buyers. Nine out of ten of the world's computers run on Windows software.
