    Hi Since your running Windows 7 have you to tried the detect second monitor within windows to to this press the start button then type display in the search box then select change display settings then select detect so let windows attempt to find your second display. Hope this works Dave

    Alec Have you tried control + F11 as soon as the Dell Laptop start to boot some older dells require both keys to be pressed to launch recovery. Hope this helps Dave

    Hi sorry your having problems have you tried running recovery by pressing F9 during start up this should launch Asuss recovery management and hopefully you can recover from there

    Most Acers come with Erecovery which holds the recovery partition to launch this at boot press Alt+F10 this should launch Erecovery options and you should be able to recover your OS from there

    Hi have you tried to press F11 during the boot process and see if you can acsess the recovery partition
