What full screen programs cause the crash? How big is your power supply? Disable automatic restart usually by going to the advanced boot options. Tap F8 at startup to get there.

This is probably a case of new windows not opening maximized so try this. Drag the window larger. Don't close it. Open a new window. Drag it larger. Maximize the second window. Maximize the first window. Close the first window. Close the second window. Open a new window. The instructions for IE have to be exact. Sometimes I have to do it a few times with IE.

Not having a clue as to what you have done I can only suggest doing a system restore picking a date when things worked.

miro is the player. A torrent is a file sharing program. miro may also be both. Is this correct? Did you download the file via miro or via a different torrent program? Can you locate the file and right click it to determine its file type?

Are you having trouble with the free open source miro player or a torrent file? If it's the player just reinstall it. If it's a torrent file beware of the risks involved.

The console is all inclusive. You don't need a computer so the only thing you need is a TV. You run the game off of the disk. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xbox

Hi and welcome. You can't just transfer programs to another computer. You will need to reinstall the programs on the new one. If you mean transfer files like documents, pictures or video that can be done.

XBOX is a gaming console. You buy a game disk to play games. Nothing more then a TV or monitor is needed to do that. Although you might need an adaptor for a direct connection to a monitor. However Xbox can do more. With a connection to a computer you can get an Xbox Live account which you can play games with other people online as long as you have the game disk. You can connect to your computer to access video and picture files which you can then view on your TV. With the proper Live account you can message, Stream through Netflix and video conference with other Live users. So although it is primarily a gaming console it is capable of doing more.

As noted this is an old PC as it didn't even ship with XP or later so booting via any usb device may not be supported in the BIOS. Since your profile says Windows 7 and you are installing XP Pro and the computer did not come with either one (specs) I'm confused by what you have exactly. Is this a full retail version of XP Pro and not a recovery disk? Also why are you not using the internal drive bays instead of external?

So you do get this sometimes when browsing and sometimes at startup? Is your date and time correct? Is your browser IE? Do you have Norton? What happens when you click Yes? Is windows fully updated?

Hi. This article explains how to change the the amount of recent docs saved. See if your value got set to 0. If it is on 17 try changing it to 0 save and close then reset to 17. Also keep in mind that some cleaner programs can remove these. CCleaner is one such program. If it is set to run at reboot it will remove recent docs if the Office 2007 box is checked.
