    What are you using to write to DVD? You need software like Nero or Roxio. Windows XP has the capability to write to CD but not DVD. Windows Vista or Windows 7 does have a native DVD burning ability.

    Import the file back into Outlook Express or Windows Mail if you have Vista. Then you can export it again as a VCF or CSV file.

    It might be a heat issue due to dust or grime build up. Open the case and see. Clogged fans are notorious for that.

    If the Norton scan is your only issue then uninstalling it and reinstalling it might work. If you can't reinstall it there are other AV options. But as Dalo said something may be stopping the scans including malware. This link may be of assistance to you if your Norton version is listed. Download and run the Norton Removal Tool

    Hi. If you are talking about the HP Officejet 7000 it's not a wireless printer. You could probably connect it to a print server though. Personally I would opt for a wireless printer instead.

Macromedia - End-User License Agreement Keep in mind that if you do install it on two different computers the second one has to be portable or in the same house and you can only use the program on one at a time. Also it will need to be activated and you agree to allow Adobe to monitor it for fair usage.     Dalo is right. Temporarily disable the Norton firewall and see what happens.

    Sorry security team for butting in again but after a quick glance I thought I might mention a couple things in case this thread is resolved or closed before moving on to the next one. You should not run two different real time antivirus programs or firewalls at the same time. For instance a Norton suite and ZoneAlarm firewall. I'm not saying you are but it can cause problems. Also using torrent programs is a major source of infections. Not worth the risk in my opinion so if you ever have you might want to reconsider doing so. Best wishes.

    I can vouch for Starbuck. He meant no disrespect. He himself will not tolerate any such thing. He only wants you to be patient and wait so that he can continue to fully help you resolve this issue until the very end. He never gives up on anyone. Trust me. You are in good hands here. And I too am like you. We want our stuff to work right all the time and as soon as we can. No worries friend.
