  1. Hi, I am not familiar with Telegram. You could try saving the image to a folder as a Jpeg then copy the saved image and paste it. Let me know if this works for you.
  2. Glad to hear that it is working again. Computers tend to have a mind of their own - much like the ladies of the house. Maybe they are on the same wavelength :) :)
  3. Done what ?? You have not had time to install Revo ??? EDIT - I understand now :) Install and run Revo-Uninstaller as per my previous post :)
  4. Hi Jim, Download and install "Revo - Uninstaller" [ free version ] from here - click here Run it and see if it locates your XP 412 software. If it does - click on this and from the toolbar at the top - click on "Delete". Use the default settings. You may be asked if you want to delete registry settings for the XP 412. This is OK - but if you are unsure then obviously leave this out. Once you have removed the drivers - re-install them again from the link I gave you earlier. Make sure that you do not have the USB lead connected to the printer when you do this.
  5. Let's finish with Pete before we continue with the printer otherwise it gets confusing
  6. Let's hope it was as simple as that :)
  7. It can be removed if you wish. Pete will explain - I have sent him a message :)
  8. Very odd ! I wonder if you are getting radio interference at times which affects the speed of your card. Do you know how to change the channel that your router broadcasts on? Normally the channel is either 1 - 6 - 11 Try a different channel and see how it goes. If not - let me know the make and model number of your router.
  9. Hi Jim, Whilst Malwarebytes is a legitimate piece of software [ not ransomware ] Driver Reviver is not desirable on your system. I will ask Pete to take a look as there may be other issues. We can continue with your printer after Pete gives you the all clear.
  10. Hi, I suspect that the card is on its way out. If another card runs at full speed with no problems then the fault lies with your Realtek card. Time for a new one I think.
  11. Hi again, does this make any sense at all ? It is supposed to be taking you through the wireless setup for your printer. The "Searching SSID" [ video ] is looking for available networks. Yours should be identified. If you click on this and it asks for a password it is the network password that you need. You said earlier that you were asked for a password. Sometimes the initial installation suggests that you change the network password - did you do this or is it still the same ?
  12. Hi Jim Does this help - click here
  13. Hi Jim It sounds as if you have 2 installations of the software - no problem with this. You can delete one if you wish. The page shown about to print - this is probably the cause of your problem. It may show "paused" or "error" next to this. There will be an option to abort or delete this page from the toolbar at the top. Try this so that there is nothing showing in the print queue. Then try printing again.
  14. The drivers for your XP 412 are here - click here You will need to select the Operating System from "Filter content ......" Make sure you know if you have 32 or 64 bit. Then select the latest driver from the list.[ Driver 7.14 ] When you download it - it will probably go into the downloads folder. If you can - select Desktop before downloading to make it easier to locate. ============== You were probably able to print from the cable as Win 7 has basic drivers installed.
  15. Have you tried re-installing the drivers from the CD that came with the machine Jim ?
  16. Hi Jim, When you say you tried to "Add a Printer" - presumably this was a wireless setup in your home network? I doubt that this needs to be done as you say that it was actually working. Try the USB cable first.
  17. I've had this with cloned cartridges too. You are sure there is ink in there - but you are being told that there isn't any !! Try replacing the cartridge with a new one and see if this solves the "....not recognised" message too.
  18. Glad you eventually managed to do what you wanted :)
  19. See page 32 - click here
  20. Hi Gabor, Sorry for the slow response - I have been away for a while. Are you still having problems ?
  21. Hi Bob, It is always a good idea to change your router password - i.e. the one that gives you access to the router software. Very often this is: username = admin password = admin or password What is the make and model number of your router ?
  22. Hi nuley, I think Starbuck is the best one to advise you on Anti Virus Software. McAfee will suffice for the time being - but this will only be a 3 month trial [ probably ] and you will be asked to pay after that. If the machine seems slow straight out of the box I suggest that this may well be the best you are going to get - unless you have accessed the net with it and it may possibly be infected already. If Starbuck doesn't reply within 24 hours simply post here again and I will pick it up.
  23. It makes some sense - I must admit I am not totally ok with web design and servers. As I understand it: The first time you access the webpage your router sends a request to your ISP Servers which basically says " what is the IP address of osobs.com? " When the reply comes back your router remembers this and passes this back to your computer. The next time you attempt to access the website there is no need to access your ISP Servers because all the relevant information is stored locally on your system. If I understand what your web controller has said ..... The original / extra Domain Name Record for your osobs.com site was deleted from the servers.[ cached ] So when your IPv6 setting tried to access the website servers looking for the original osobs.com it simply wasn't there. Removing the IPv6 setting in the Router meant that when you then tried to access the website again it was as if it was a new request. The router was then directed to the working website on the Servers. This is probably over-simplified but it does seem to explain why some of your members couldn't access the site. Just a further note: Not all routers act in this manner - which will explain why so few of your members had the problem. I hope this helps.
