I have a 10.3MB folder in my recycle bin that I can't delete. I have used the rd /s /q C:$Recycle.bin command as administrator without effect. I have manually deleted the $Recycle.bin file, but it renews itself with the file still intact. When I try to empty the bin, the system shows that it is deleting the file, but when finished the bin still has the file. What can I do without re-installing Windows? View the thread

I have quite a few patch files related to each version of .net installed on my computer (I like to keep local copies so i do not have to use Microsoft update all the time. I am wondering if its possible to 'slipstream' each patch / update into a single install like you can when you slipstream operating system fixes. I went to use Windows Malicious Software tool after I received a note saying that Windows defender could not download updates for my computer. It found no problems. My internet service provider says that I need to install service pack 2 before their software will work when I am already running with service pack 2 installed. I mistakedly downloaded and installed service pack 2 for developers and that's when I statrted with all the other problems. I can't seem to get much of anything to install properly either. I have an external monitor hooked up to my laptop. The problem is that my computer seems to think the second monitor that's hooked up to the computer is the main monitor. I've tried changing the monitors so that the laptop's monitor is the main one. It still doesn't work though... How do I fix this problem?
