this is karteek, all hard drives and pen drives were attacked a special virus which cant be detected by any anti virus. its due to the virus caused by the public systems. due to this all external hard drives and pen drives data becomes short cut and shows the above mentioned error while trying to open it . and while scanning with several antivirus programs no virus is detecting... and valuable data is missing and I am in a fear of loosing all the data kindly please attend my problem as soon as possible.. waiting for u r effective solution and also suggest a best anti virus program for my pc to get rid of this type of attacks. Hello when I install windows 8 all program install and work fine but after first fully update windows 8, all 64 program such as office (word & excel & ... ) have problem to run : the application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b). Click OK to close the application. thanks View this thread

I'm having an issue with the reporting of update KB2809289 on Server 2003 SP2, both 32 and 64 bit. The update installs just fine and shows in Add/Remove programs; however, when you go back through to run more updates it shows as needing the update again, subsequently, any patch management software flags the update as not being installed. The behavior is the same on around 30 individual servers across multiple domains.It's notable to say that I do not have a later version of IE installed on any of these servers.This issue seems to be limited to 2003 terminal/Citrix servers at this point as it has been successful on other types of servers of the same os. Also, the same KB for 2008 R2 IE8 installs and registers as expected.I have tried numerous ways of getting this to register properly:I've downloaded the update and installed manually after wiping all traces of it from the registry and file system. I've done that same procedure booted into safe mode as well with the same results.I have uninstalled IE8 entirely along with all it's patches. Once removed verified all traces were gone from all locations in the registry and file system. Also cleared the update cache at C:WindowsSoftwareDistribution. Back through the install (installing IE8 from the exe download) with the same end results.Have tried using baseline security analyzer to check/correct the issue but it reports back the patch as missing too.The update always shows under add/remove programs after it's installed but continues to show as outstanding.Anyone else happen to be experiencing the same issue or have any thoughts?Thanks,Matt View this thread

My computer is at risk because my McAfee real-time scanning isn't working. It can't be turned on. I called McAfee, and they can't fix the problem because they say there is a problem with Windows Update, which must be fixed first. Hi all, When installing the update it got close to fully installed. But it just sits there. I hit "Stop Installation" but it did nothing, so after a while I shut down my computer. And I restarted the computer, but when doing so, it wanted to install the update. I left it on all night and it was stilll on that stupid screen. So now every time I try to restart my computer it wants to install that update. VERSION: Windows 8 Pro 64bit THERE IS INFORMATION ON UPDATE BELOW. How do I install this update, without any problems? I recently got the 0x81000019 error code when trying to do a backup on my external hard drive. I turn off my antivirus protection before I attempt. I have no other language installed. Ran win update for IE10, it DL'd, ran but when requested to restart I did but then reboot PC failed to boot and went into recovery and repair. Eventually Auto recovered so system usable but Win update now shows IE10 update as completed but windows still has IE9. I have no idea of what the error was except it said Windows cannot boot and error with recent update. Hi, Sometimes I notices files that start with rmo and ended with .temp.htm (eg: RmoFY99.temp.htm) in my IE's history (the file's location is in "user"/appdata/local/temp/). When I try to access it, IE says it cannot find it anymore. I do set IE to delete all data on exit. MSE & eset online scanner found nothing.
