This Showed up in my Home Page ( 22find.com ) I have Deleted it from my Home Page setting and set my Default Back to the one my ISP Gave me but it will keep showing up . I look on the net and see that it is a virus of sorts but my Microsoft Security Essentials Did not pick it up ?? Any thoughts on what I should Do to Get this off My PC ?? Thamks Tom View this thread

Hello,I'm running Windows 7 Pro 64-bit on a Toshiba Satellite L505. For some reason every time I have updates to download there are always two that end up failing.Errors found: Code 8007066FFailed Updates: KB2687499 & KB2760416I've searched around on and off for a few months trying whatever fix i can find. A user tried opening Turbotax 2012 after the update and several reboot/retry it crashes. Also the quicklaunch bar was altered to show a description only instead of the 'min desktop' of the application. I don't know what the number of the update was. It failed to install 3 times. My PC had to take time to configure-fail then revert each time. Most annoying. I thought doing a system to restore back to before I tried to install it the first time. That didn't do anything. I then opened the troubleshooter. Boy was than a major mistake. It fixed something but it wiped out every restore point as well as every update. It took it back to square none and said I had never done an update on it. Now when I try to reinstall the updated it keeps some and then goes through that whole install fail reconfigure then revert. Any ideas of how to fix this??? I forgot to add that it now keeps installing the same updates over and over. View this thread

A couple of days ago my laptop got infected with the delta search engine, I think I have got rid of it however I noticed a new icon called 'bundleSetup' has appeared on my desktop, Im not sure what it is but it wont allow me to delete it and i cant find it when i search for it in my programmes the certificate is registerd to Performersoft LLC any help would be appreciated View this thread

I have contacted the expat shield people and they confirm that it will not work with windows 8 and that they are not at the moment or in the future intending to have a version which works with windows 8. Had I have known this before I upgraded, I would never have upgraded to windows 8. perhaps microsoft will do something to make it to be compatible with windows 8 as it was in windows 7. Extremly dissapointed and feel somewhat let down. I am finding more and more software I buy is not compatable with windows 8 and it is as if the software producers are severley lagging behind or think that not many people will use windows 8!!! While I was away from our house 12-27 Feb visitors used our laptop. On our return the battery was completely flat and the machine off. We recharged the battery and started Windows OK. An exclamation mark indicated there were Windows updates to install and being cautious I went to the updates page and started the install. It hung on 8 of 14 for about two hours. I then clicked on the updates troubleshooter but got nowhere and still the laptop was hanging on 8 of 14. I consulted the community page and decided to restart the laptop and try system restore. However on starting I got "Resume Windows" and a screen with "Installing 8 of 14" as one gets when one closes down and updates are processed automatically. I can see no way to get at the start screen to try system restore or the other approaches listed in community answers. This is the first time we have experienced any problems with automatic updates, please help. View this thread

Hello there, I'm having an issue in which a recent windows update install has affected both my wireless and LAN network cards. My laptop was set to automatically install updates and after turning it on the next day after it updated I could only connect to my home Wireless network with limited access. Other devices can connect to the network no problem so I know it's not the network. When running network diagnostics it tells me that the network adapter may be experiencing problems. I have tried rolling back the drivers, updating to the latest drivers off the manufacturers website, uninstalling the drivers and rebooting. The drivers all say they are working fine and the adapters appear in the network and sharing centre. Upon viewing the properties of each adapter it says that they are enabled but not connected. Neither adapters appear in ipconfig /all. I managed to system restore to a point prior to the update and the issue disappeared completely so I am positive it's not an issue with my hardware. The update is not listed in the installed updates for me to be able to uninstall it but it does appear in the windows update history. Unfortunately my computer will no longer let me system restore to any point saying that "system restore failed to extract the file (c:) from the restore point. And unspecified error occurred during System Restore. The windows 7 update KB2670838 caused microsoft word 2007 to crash. I uninstalled the update again, but I still face the problem. I'm not sure if it got properly uninstalled. The update is still listed in the 'view update history' as status 'successful'. However, its not listed anymore if I go to 'uninstall updates'. I also tried if installing the update manually makes a difference, but no success. Because I realized the problem not right away I can also not to a system recovery anymore. Also, the last system image is quite old already. I must admit that windows really annoys me!!! I've been reading about the problems with the KB2670838 in many forums. Such updates should not be released. Stories like this are the reason why I've got Linux running on my other computers.
