    I restored my computer to factory settings. It reset it back to windows 7, and i would like windows 8 again. I don't want to have to buy it again. Any solutions? View this thread

    I have tried to install Windows XP Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 Service Pack 1 and .NET Framework 3.5 Family Update for .NET versions 2.0 through 3.5 (KB951847) x86 but always fails with error code 0x643. does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks in advance G. View this thread

    I have a windows 7 OS, and have had McAfee security for some time. Recently my icon section has multiple McAfee security icons and only more appear when i try to open anything McAfee. If I drag my cursor over the icons they vanish. I just want some security on my computer and now I'm trying to download MSE and I get a "runttime error" in my browser window instead of a download option. I started to do all of this because my computer runs extremely slow sometimes and will not play videos or open applications, and other times it works near perfectly. I just want a normal computer again. View this thread

    just did a full scan apr 17 and ended with a green icon,today (apr 18th ) I have a yellow icon saying potentially unprotected. this is an ongoing problem. WHY and what can I do to correct this? View this thread

    We are experiencing an error in Infopath after installing: KB2760406. This file is not a valid XML file. >>Detials:The form contains XML that cannot be parsed:Required white space was missing.     it says I need a disc to install an update to windows office xp service pack 3. Why? When I bought my laptop, everything was pre-loaded. I've been trying to take that download for about a month and keep getting the error code 0x8024002D. View this thread

    Hi, I am using a very slow broadband connection of 1 Mbps. When there are say 12 updates of 172MB for download and install at the Window Update Shortcut, it takes more than two hours to download and install but this process never complete after this period. The percentage of completion always stuck at 12% only. I never face this problem when using Win 7 (Pro), the Window update download and installation is completed almost instantly. May I know how to trouble shoot and fix this problem? Thanks Low View this thread

    My Sony VAIO will not UPDATE, Please help me! I am extremely novice and don't know much, but I know that Windows Update, VAIO update, and Microsoft security essentials SHOULD automatically update, or at least update when I ask it to nicely! Every time I shut down there are about 75 and multiplying updates that wont install. Does anyone have any suggestions? I am on an extremely low budget or I would have taken it in to a shop by now. I really like my VAIO. Except for this problem, it has been trouble free for 3 years now. HELP?... anyone...?...ANYONE...???...Please...?... ... ... View this thread

    I'm running Windows XP 32-bit. After a Windows Update during the week of April 8, 2013, my monitor wasn't looking right. My nVidia icon in the taskbar disappeared. I went to Control Panel to launch the nVidia control panel, and got an error message about the display driver not being compatible. I re-installed the display driver from the product CD, and all was well . . . until another Windows Update. Seems that the update is replacing the driver with something else? What up with that, dude?
