I bought a new Samsung computer in October of 2011 and had Windows 7 installed. I bought the Windows Home Studio from Best Buy. Just a few days agp a dialog message opps up stating "This copy of Windowsis not genuine". Can anyone tell me if this is a scam? Hi, I'm trying to set up the People App. I've got it connected to FB and Twitter, but I can't get it connected to Google. Hi, I had windows 7 working fine on my Dell Inspiron 15N laptop for more than 2 years. Recently I upgraded my OS to Windows 8. Its working fine as far as the routine operations are concerned. But I am facing this issue - Whenever I close the lid of my laptop to just put it to hibernate mode without manually doing it via Settings, the laptop restarts itself next time when I come back and press the power button. It does not come back to the state I left it in before closing the lid. This issue is happening to me again and again for past 2 weeks. Also, when I try manually put the laptop in Sleep /Hibernate mode and press the power button it comes back on without any issue. I am using Power savings option in my laptop for battery performance. It has been a constant headache for me now and Today I almost lost my unsaved work due to this random restart of Windows 8. Please let me know what I should do to resolve this issue. This is a weird problem I haven't been able to figure out on my windows 8 computer.. When my computer is at the login screen the monitor will fall asleep and sometimes the computer itself will fall asleep too.. How can i stop this so just the screensaver comes up? Every time I want to open something with graphics, a window pops up with "unzip". When I do this, it goes through motions of unzipping to a folder. Then, it wants to install the above and when I do that it says that I already have a newer version of 82865G. So I try to open the link or whatever I am opening that contains graphics and then we go through the whole Unzip etc. again and I am never able to open anything that needs this controller. Yesterday, I ran a scan using MSE where it found an Adware virus, but this was not a problem as it went away pretty much instantly. Since then, when I try to access Steam, I press the icon (desktop, taskbar and start menu). It acknowledges me pressing the icon because the loading icon on the pointer appears. It even is shown as a process under the Task Manager. However, Steam does not open. How do I repair this?? View the thread

I found that there are 2 Windows.edb files in these locations C:ProgramDataMicrosoftSearchDataApplicationsWindowsWindows.edb 7.9GB C:ProgramDataMicrosoftSearchDataApplicationsWindowsWindows.edb 12.9GB Why are there 2 files and which one is the actual one and which one can I delete? Hi, For some reason, tel: links on my pc are now opening in Google Chrome. I would like to restore the association with Lync, but when I go to Control Panel -> Default Programs -> Set Associations and click on the URL:Tel Protocol, I get a dialog that gives me two options: 1) Keep using Google Chrome 2) Look for an app in the Store Is there a way to select a program that is already installed on my PC (Lync in this case)? Hi, I realized that Network Service was defaulted for all the office web app application pool identity for the new Office Web Application for sharepoint 2013. I would like to check if there is anyway to change the identity (example: WebWordViewer)? I saw a number of posts on sharepoint 2010 for changing the default network service acct to managed acct but could'nt find any related information for sharepoint 2013. Thanks in advanced! I have monitor and TV. Both are Full HD. Main is monitor. I don't know how, but start menu appears on the TV, (by pressing win key). I guess there is no check which monitor is the main. I opened PDF file with "Reader" app, and it's opens on TV. So i must use win+p to change mode to "one monitor", and back to fix this. P.S.
