If you tried using System Restore to fix a problem but the problem remained or other problems were introduced, you can undo the restore operation. After you undo System Restore, you can try using a different restore point.
Open System Restore by clicking the Start button http://res2.windows.microsoft.com/resbox/en/Windows%20Vista/main/4/f/4f6cbd09-148c-4dd8-b1f2-48f232a2fd33/4f6cbd09-148c-4dd8-b1f2-48f232a2fd33.png, clicking All Programs, clicking Accessories, clicking System Tools, and then clicking System Restore.* http://res1.windows.microsoft.com/resbox/en/Windows%20Vista/main/1/8/18abb370-ac1e-4b6b-b663-e028a75bf05b/18abb370-ac1e-4b6b-b663-e028a75bf05b.png If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
Click Undo System Restore, and then click Next.
Review your choices, and then click Finish.
Your computer will restart. When finished, you'll see a confirmation that the undo process is completed.
