  8. Hello Bob and welcome to ExTS , First of all I have moved your post to the Malware Section , secondly lets see what we can do to shift SNAP.DO. I'd like you to follow the following instructions. Step 1 Please download AdwCleaner by Xplode onto your desktop. Close all open programs and internet browsers. Double click on adwcleaner.exe to run the tool. Click on Delete. Confirm each time with Ok. You will be prompted to restart your computer. A text file will open after the restart. Please post the contents of that logfile with your next reply. You can find the logfile at C:\AdwCleaner[s1].txt as well. Hope this Helps Dave
  9. Hi again Nikolas the latest BSOD points to a problem with the NTFS file system I'd like you to read the following page and then give Seatools for windows a run to check the state of your drives http://knowledge.seagate.com/articles/en_US/FAQ/202435en Dave
  10. Hello again running Linux on a Virtual box isn't easy and looking at the info you provided and installing the repositories and packages for a Linux newbie isn't easy either , Linux uses Terminal like the Windows Command Line to run and install everything and even for someone who's used Linux for a while like myself it can be daunting , if you decide on this route I will point you in the direction of a suitable Linux Distro with reasonable support, but personally I think you'd be better looking into a suitable Windows alternative.
  11. Many thanks from me too for the donation , I also agree with Ken and Nev about watercooling it shouldn't be needed , I took the bull by the horns myself today and cleaned the fans in my desktop that lives in a cupboard , there was a fair build up of dust I cleaned them with air and a soft bristled brush and even though my system runs reasonably cool after cleaning I have a on average 7C drop in temps.
  12. Hi Nikolas and welcome to ExTS am sorry you are having so many problems , could we start by downloading speccy , this will give us system information and temps of GPU , CPU , Drives , also could you download and run blue screenview , this will give us details of your last 5 BSOD's , On your next reply could you post the details of these , this will give us a starting point. Dave
  13. Had another good look round and I think the only way to run this on a Windows system is to run virtual box to create a virtual drive then run a Linux system on the virtual drive then compile the GNU Health packages , either that or totally install a Linux system and dual boot with Windows.
  14. Okay I had a good look round and found a alternative to GNU Health that will run on Windows am certain there is a way to emulate a tar.gz package in Windows , but the Alternative software may suit your needs so it may be worth a look http://openmrs.org/about/
  15. Ok what I downloaded was a installer just offering loads of stuff you dont need . I'll look at the links you provided
  16. Hi I found a windows installer for the software I don't wanna risk your machines so I'll sandbox and try it if it'[s ok i'll provide the link.
  17. Hi Paul and welcome to ExTS if you click the start orb and go to computer then right click it and select properties this will bring up system properties o9n that page it will tall you if your system is 32 or 64 bit , hope this helps.

  22. Just a quick point the link to SRWare Iron in Kens post the download on the link also downloads what we'd call crapware so If you do install make sure to do a custom install so you can make sure the added crap isn't installed.
  23. Hi and welcome to ExTS the stop code you provided in the screen shot points to a hard drive fault with the NFTS partition table , firstly I'd try the pc in safe mode see if you get the same BSOD , Also I'd run chkdsk from either normal or safe mode to check your drive for errors.
  24. I use Firefox 21 90% of the time and along with Nev I use adblock , I also use various other browsers , I along with other members will atest to having a favorite browser.
