Well, most experts recommend upgrading to the latest version of a web browser because they integrate protection against malicious and suspicious scripts. The last version of Netscape should have it too though they might not be up to date with various other scripts that might have been created after the end of its support. All I say is this: install Netscape and use it but not for your primary needs. Under no circumstances, make it your primary browser and instead use it alongside an updated and supported browser like Mozilla Firefox. This should allow you both functionality and security at the same time. In my opinion, we can never be too wary on the internet. I also tried to search for a plug-in that might allow Corel Print House to function in Firefox, but in vain. Maybe, you should try requesting it in the Mozilla forums. Hope that helps. :) -- Goku

Hello Mara, I miss Netscape too but not for the sidebar but for various other reasons. I searched a bit in the extensions database and found an extension that works exactly like you want it to be. Its called Alexa Sidebar Again. Moreover, it also uses the same engine as it used in Netscape, so the results might be the same as you would get in Netscape. Hope that helps. :) -- Goku

Hello and Welcome to FPCH Roy. :) It seems that you have not installed the driver for your webcam and that is why you are getting the error. Please download the appropriate driver from here and install it. Make sure the webcam is connected when you do so. After the installation is complete, reboot your computer. You should now be able to use your webcam. If you need more specific instructions, you might want to use the Documentation available here. Hope that helps. -- Goku

Hello Barry. I hope you know what you are doing as I don't. The folder you mention might contain some crucial components needed and deleting it might cause your Operating System to dysfunction. Anyways, if you want to delete it so desperately, then you might find Unlocker useful. It also contains an option to delete a file / folder on boot so it might have a better chance of removing it than you have manually. Once again, whatever your reasons may be, don't delete the folder unless absolutely necessary. Hope that helps. :) -- Goku

Hello Bob. I tried Google Chrom for a very brief period of time but was unimpressed by it. Opera and Firefox still beat it in every field. A more thorough review, with user comments and opinions, can be found here. :) -- Goku

Hello Gracey. The file you state contains random characters for a file name. Such kind of files are usually created by infections to avoid detection from security products. Please run the above mentioned procedure and restart the computer. The problem will most probably resolve itself but if it doesn't, please post back here and we will try to look up an alternate solution. In any case, please let us know how it goes. Also, I have added the name of those random files as Tags to your thread so that someone with a similar problem might find a solution. :) Hope that helps. -- Goku

Missing links on website (Firefox only)
Goku replied to Quacker's topic in Tech Support & Discussions Forum
It is a browser compatibility problem Steve. I am running Firefox 3.0.3 and experience the same issues. The easiest fix would be to update the site code so that it is compatible with newer versions of Firefox. Also, reporting the problem to Mozilla might help too. :) -- Goku -
I think Norton is very sloppy and takes a lot of resources. Consider this list of products if you want a replacement. And Norton can be notoriously tricky to remove, so if you choose to uninstall it, you might find the below article useful. How to Uninstall Norton Also, try disabling Norton and see if the problem persists. If it doesn't, then perhaps Norton is interfering with your internet settings. Hope that helps. :) -- Goku

AVG identifies Adobe Flash as malicious
Goku replied to Dalo Harkin's topic in Tech Support & Discussions Forum
AVG is surely going a rough time at the moment. By the way, Avira also detects a malicious code in the latest download of Adobe Reader. Seems, Adobe needs to sort out its code better. -- Goku
