Goku replied to struggling's topic in Tech Support & Discussions Forum
Hello Struggling. It seems that your Operating System is heavily infected / corrupted and that is what is causing the error messages. Please try running your computer through our standard Malware Removal procedure and see what results does it yield. Let us know how it goes though. Good Luck. :) -- Goku -

Hello and Welcome to FPCH Axal. :) I am a complete novice in programming so please bear with me but did I read your question right? You want to create an OS (Operating System) using C or any other programming language? I don't know if it is even possible or not but I think you will need a lot of financial backup and a team of advanced programmers before you can even get started. Anyways, as I said, I know nothing about it so I would better leave it to the experts. -- Goku

Fix No Flash Sound Hello Nemi. Your second issue is known to be caused by a corrupt installation of Adobe Flash Player. Please try to reinstall the player and see if it helps the problem or not. If you still encounter the problem, then please download the following archive and extract the file within it. Browse to the extracted file and double-click on it. A prompt will pop-up asking if you want to import the value into the registry. Answer Yes to it and click OK on the subsequent prompt. Reboot the computer. See, if any of the above methods fix the problem or not. Good Luck. :) -- Goku Fix No Flash Sound.zip

Hello Sang. That is a most excellent suggestion about creating a tutorial for CCleaner's 'safe use'. Here is a rough one you can use at the moment. 1. Open CCleaner. 2. Click on the Options tab. 3. Select the Settings tab and configure the settings so that they look similar to the ones shown below. http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/nn44/JustMeYaar/Settings.jpg 4. Next, move to the Advanced tab and set the settings as shown below. http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/nn44/JustMeYaar/Settings.jpg 5. Click on the Cleaner tab, and check everything you want to delete. Next, move to the Applications tab and check what application traces you want to remove. 6. Press the Analyze button and CCleaner will tell you how much space the unnecessary files are taking up and how much you stand to gain by removing them. 7. Check the log carefully for any unwanted files and then press the Run Cleaner button. Depending on the number of files to clean and deletion passes, the cleaning will take some time to complete. There are several other features in CCleaner but you might want to explore but don't use its registry cleaning provision unless specifically advised so. It might render your system unbootable if used incorrectly. I know that is a bad one but someone can hopefully edit it and make it more detailed and instructive. Hope that helps. :)

Hello Jules, it seems that the Automatic Updates service has been disabled on your computer. Please perform the following steps and see if they help or not. 1. Click Start. 2. Select Run.... 3. Type services.msc in the Open: box and click OK. 4. In the corresponding Window, you will be presented with a list of services as shown below. Search for a service titled Background Intelligence Transfer Service or something similar. http://www.novell.com/coolsolutions/img/16333-1.gif 5. After you have located the service, right-click on it and select Properties. 6. In the Startup type: change the preference to Automatic. 7. Click Apply and then OK. 8. Reboot the computer. Try to enable the Automatic Updates now and see if you still experience the problem or not. Good Luck. :) -- Goku

DVD Writer & DVD Rom No Longer Found ???
Goku replied to alfa155's topic in Tech Support & Discussions Forum
Hello Alfa. Please download the attached archive and extract it. If you are unsure on how to open the archive, use the instructions from here and continue. After you have extracted the archive, you should obtain a file labeled Fix CD Drive.reg. Double-click on the file and you will be asked whether you want to import the information into the registry or not. Answer Yes to the prompt and sometime later another dialog box will pop up informing you that the operation was successful. After you have done the above, reboot your computer. You should now be able to access and use your CD drive. http://extremetechsupport.com/forum/images/colortheory/attach/zip.gif Fix CD Drive.zip Note: Using the above registry fix might cause some programs to dysfunction or work incorrectly. In that case, please reinstall the affected programs to resolve their respective errors. Hope that helps. :) -- Goku
