Hi joddle
Try this "universal" driver - click here
It is supposed to be compatible with Win 8 :)
It may not have full functionality - but hopefully you should be able to print.
Hi
Try this link - click here
Put X4650 into the search box.
You need to click on "Windows 7 and Windows 8 Information" if the listed drivers do not work for you.
If you have Lexmark drivers installed already then these will need to be removed.

The UK did not fare too well at all.
The % worldwide drops off dramatically after question 2 ( there are only 4 sample questions )
Have a go.
Modesty forbids me from letting you know my results :)
With XP Pro ??
Surely not ? or is it just new to you :)
I assume you are using Internet Explorer ?
Do you have a Home Page set ?
Open IE > Tools > Internet Options
It will say there.
Mine is http://www.google.co.uk/
Set this - then check again to see if "Remove" is still greyed out.
You could try Resetting IE
Open IE > Tools > Advanced > Reset
Note - this will set IE to default settings and you will probably need to go through the set-up procedure again.
The "Remove" button should be accessible now - hopefully :)
Click Start, and then click Run.
Type appwiz.cpl, and then press ENTER.
In the Currently installed programs list, click Bing Bar, and then click Remove.
Follow the on-screen instructions.
This should do it :)
Which Operating System are you using ?
You could try Revo Uninstaller from here - click here
( you want the FREE version )
Install and run it. It will find all installed applications.
If Bing is located - simply click on it and select "Delete" button from the toolbar at the top.
If this doesn't do it - get back to us with your OS.
Hi and welcome to ExTS
I am sorry - I am answering a question with a few of my own first :)
1. "New Hub" ...... is this a BT Home Hub ? If so - is there a model number to identify it ?
2.
Start > Run ....type in ....... devmgmt.msc ......ENTER
Click the + next to Network Adapters
What is listed ?
Any yellow exclamation marks or red Xs ?
The difference here is - we don't bite :)
We value opinions and are mature enough to realise that in a community like this not everybody is going to agree.
I can't emulate your problem on my machine.
Try this:
Open IE > Tools > Internet Options > Tabs
There are options there.
You could try hitting the "Restore Defaults"
Not sure if this is going to help - but worth a try.
You asked about IE 11 earlier.
Now may be the time to try installing this.

You need to know if your system is 32 or 64 bit.

I suggested MS Essentials.
As you know - this is a totally free A-V from Microsoft.
If M$ are offering to supply me with a perfectly good - free - AntiVirus I, for one, am not going to turn it down.
They make enough out of me anyway - I don't feel guilty in any way taking something for free from them :)
Hi joddle
I am in the same boat as you with regards to "old" printer.
I have an old Epson that I can print wirelessly to from my vista laptop via my XP computer ...... but NOT from my Win8 laptop !
( No Win 8 drivers )
The fault lies with the printer manufacturers.
In my case Epson could not be bothered to upgrade the software.

Yes it will as long as the router is "n" rated - even if it isn't it should still work ..... but data transfer will be slower.
