HP G60 530us notebook 64 bit intel pentium It says "waiting for download manage, This program is preventing windows from closing." (it's saying manage, not manager) I think this started after I did my first back up onto a memory stick or when I downloaded Java. I had never downloaded a Java previously. I went into my programs and started removing a lot of programs. I have always shut down my computer by clicking on shutdown. I've never left it in sleep mode. Never heard of that term before. Something seems odd when I get updates from Adobe usually for the flash player. When I click on the update box instead of downloading to my computer I get directed to Adobe.com. Then there the update gets downloaded and installed is that typical now? It is more like if I did not have the flash player installed on my computer and the update is more of a install. I can not burn a CD with Media player 11. I can drag the songs in the play list but at the top where media player used to tell me how much space I had left on the blank CD it says "connect a burner and restart the player". The burner works because I can burn a CD with other software, but I like media player much better. I even bought a new external burner and it can't see that one either. View this thread

I heard about the issue with this update but have not yet experienced any issues, if I uninstall it, will that do any harm to my system. I think I should but then I also think that it might somehow harm my computer, I'm not sure. have this problem with an external drive, it keeps changing its letter, I share it on other networks (other PC's) But it keeps changing its letter, so it doesnt share any more, Then any short cuts I have dont work any more, I cant revert back to the drive it was at first (G) it has now changed to ( I ) All I have done it reboot my PC (as per normal) Things seem to have a mind of their own I havent done anything unusual, (I dont think) I havent added any new programs, I HAVE had a MS update though, but I dont know if this affected anything on there I am running XP pro, IE 8 (thats all I can use on IE8) All my audio books/films/music is on this drive, it is linked to my iTues library, now it cant find them I have tried rebooting without the drive connected, then plugging it in, that never worked I have tried deleting the drivers for it, that never worked either I have tried rebooting with the drive connected, that never worked either I dont know what else to do now Why does it do this ????? Hi All,I have now purchased a number of E4 plan licenses for Office 365. We are going to be hosting AD on prem but exchange, files/folders, sharepoint will be in 365. I am wanting to start preparing the 365 enviroment but I am not ready to start using it yet.
